For 27-inch 4K resolution with a USB-C hub, the Dell Pro P2725QE is the fit to investigate. Does the monitor need to charge your laptop?
This is the first distinction to check if you want to reduce desk cables. USB-C describes a connector, not a guaranteed feature set: a monitor’s USB-C port may carry data without charging a connected laptop.

- P2726DEV and P2725QE: Dell lists upstream USB-C power delivery up to 90 W. Check the laptop’s USB-C display-output support and whether that power level meets its requirements.
- P2725DE: Dell also lists up to 90 W upstream USB-C power delivery; check host compatibility before relying on it as the laptop’s power source.
For a one-cable setup, also confirm which functions travel over that connection—display, USB data, network, and power—and which ports or adapters your laptop still needs.

What resolution and features matter for your work?
Documents, spreadsheets, and everyday multitasking
The U2724D and P2726DEV are 27-inch QHD options at 2560 × 1440. The U2724D adds a 120 Hz refresh rate, IPS Black panel, and Dell-listed color coverage of 100% sRGB and BT.709 and 98% DCI-P3 and Display P3. Those are specifications, not a guarantee that it is the best choice for every workflow; consider whether you need its color coverage or faster refresh rate.
Video meetings
The P2726DEV is the listed choice with an integrated webcam. Its USB-C upstream connection, Ethernet port, and downstream USB-C charging capability can also suit a desk where you want conferencing and hub features in one display. Dell lists downstream USB-C power up to 15 W; that is distinct from the up-to-90 W upstream laptop power delivery.

Higher resolution
The P2725QE is the 27-inch 4K option in this group, at 3840 × 2160. Choose it if resolution is your priority, while checking that the laptop can drive the display at the settings you intend to use and that the current regional model has the connections you require.
Stand adjustment and multitasking
Dell lists height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments for the U2724D and P2725QE. The U2724D also lists picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture (PiP/PbP). Confirm the exact stand and features on the configuration listing you plan to buy; regional product configurations can differ.

Check compatibility before choosing a model
- Video output: Make sure the laptop’s USB-C port supports display output if you intend to connect over USB-C. A USB-C-shaped port alone is not enough to establish that.
- Power: Compare the laptop’s charging requirement with the monitor’s stated power delivery. The P2726DEV, P2725QE, and P2725DE list up to 90 W; the U2724D’s upstream USB-C is data-only.
- Mac support: Dell says the U2724D works with Mac devices over USB-C or HDMI, but cautions that some features may not be supported and that select M-series chips may have limitations. Check compatibility for your specific Mac.
- Multiple displays: Dell says daisy chaining multiple displays with one cable requires Thunderbolt connectivity. Check both the computer and monitor connection requirements for the setup you plan.
