The Deco Gear DG49OLED240 is a 49-inch 32:9 QD-OLED monitor with a resolution of 5120 × 1440 and a stated maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz. Its pixel dimensions match two 27-inch QHD screens side by side, but it is one continuous display—not two independent monitors. Tom’s Hardware’s review by Christian Eberle, published August 29, 2026, praised its gaming performance, image quality, color accuracy, audio, and potential to replace a dual-monitor setup. The reviewer also noted an unintuitive on-screen display and slightly dark gamma.
What the DG49OLED240 offers
Deco Gear identifies the DG49OLED240 as a QD-OLED display with a 1800R curve. Its 32:9 aspect ratio gives you a much wider workspace than a conventional 16:9 screen, while its 5120 × 1440 resolution provides the same total pixel dimensions as two QHD displays, each 2560 × 1440.
The difference from a dual-monitor arrangement is practical as well as visual: there is no center bezel, but there is also no physical separation between panels. You manage windows across one display surface, and software or game support for an unusually wide aspect ratio can affect how useful the full screen is.

The manufacturer’s manual specifies a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz. That is the monitor’s stated ceiling, not a guarantee that every computer will drive every game at 240 frames per second. The achievable refresh rate depends on the computer, connection, display settings, and workload.

Tom’s Hardware described gaming as smooth and reported favorable response and input-lag performance relative to its review database. Deco Gear lists 0.1 ms in its specification block and separately advertises 0.03 ms with overdrive; these are different claims and should not be treated as interchangeable measurements. Tom’s Hardware’s specifications table lists 0.03 ms GTG.
Image quality, brightness, and review caveats
Tom’s Hardware highlighted the panel’s contrast and balanced color, as well as its out-of-box color accuracy. The review also praised the built-in audio as better than usual for a monitor. Its stated drawbacks were an unintuitive on-screen display (OSD) and gamma that appeared slightly dark.

Warranty and OLED protection
Deco Gear states that the monitor has a one-year limited warranty. The product page also describes OLED protection features, but those features do not by themselves establish that burn-in is covered. Read the current written warranty for the terms that apply in your region, including any exclusions and coverage conditions.
Is the DG49OLED240 a good dual-monitor replacement?
It is a plausible fit if your main reason for using two 27-inch QHD monitors is to gain horizontal workspace and you would prefer a seamless image. You still need to account for the single-panel format: applications and games may handle 32:9 differently, and window placement will not feel exactly like working across two separately configurable displays.
Tom’s Hardware’s verdict was positive. Reviewer Christian Eberle wrote: “If you already have two screens and can’t stand the dividing line, or you want to double your screen area from the 27-inch QHD monitor you’re currently running, the Deco Gear DG49OLED240 is a no-brainer.” That is the reviewer’s opinion, not a guarantee that the format, ergonomics, or software support will suit every buyer.
Price and stock are not stable specifications. The manufacturer page and the review showed inconsistent price information, and current retailer availability was not verified. Check the exact model number, current price, return terms, and warranty coverage before ordering.
