Magic: The Gathering does not have a documented, ready-to-play Street Fighter Commander deck. The official crossover is Secret Lair x Street Fighter, a release of individual cards featuring Chun-Li and other World Warriors. David Dastmalchian’s connection is separate but timely: he plays M. Bison in the live-action Street Fighter film scheduled for October 16, 2026.
Why David Dastmalchian is linked to Street Fighter
Capcom announced on September 5, 2025, that filming had begun on its live-action Street Fighter adaptation. The company lists an October 16, 2026 release date and names David Dastmalchian among the starring cast.
ComingSoon reported on August 26, 2026, that Dastmalchian plays M. Bison, the franchise’s authoritarian villain. His preparation reportedly went beyond imitating a game character. He and the creative team studied cult leadership and historical figures to understand how an intimidating leader attracts devoted followers.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Dastmalchian described his interest in villains who command “endless armies of foot soldiers” willing to die for them. He also said the team examined leaders who combined terror and intimidation with “cunning, charm, and seduction” to create major movements. That approach suggests the film’s M. Bison is being developed as a manipulative leader, not merely as a physically threatening opponent.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The Commander-deck angle comes from the appeal of putting those World Warriors into a multiplayer card-game format. However, the available official product information does not document a Dastmalchian-branded deck or a complete M. Bison Commander release.
Does Magic have a Street Fighter Commander deck?
No official, preconstructed 100-card Street Fighter Commander deck is identified in the announced product. Wizards of the Coast describes the crossover as a Secret Lair x Street Fighter drop, not as a boxed Commander starter deck.

The exact characters, card contents, availability and current prices should be checked against the live Secret Lair listing or the seller’s inventory. A Secret Lair release can be unavailable directly after its sales window, leaving buyers to compare secondary-market listings. Those conditions are different from buying a continuously stocked, ready-to-play Commander product.
How to buy Street Fighter MTG cards
- Search for the exact product name: Use “Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair x Street Fighter,” rather than searching only for “Street Fighter Commander deck.”
- Confirm what the listing contains: Check whether it is a complete Secret Lair drop, an individual card, a bundle or a reseller listing.
- Separate cards from accessories: A listing may show deck boxes, sleeves or display items that are not part of the card release.
- Check condition and language: For secondary-market purchases, verify card condition, edition or treatment and language before paying.
- Plan the deck yourself: If your goal is Commander play, confirm each card’s color identity and rules text, then add the cards to a legal 100-card list.
What this means for fans waiting for a M. Bison deck
A M. Bison-centered Commander deck remains a fan concept rather than a documented official product in the announcement. The crossover still gives players a legitimate way to bring Street Fighter characters into Magic, but it requires deckbuilding or combining the cards with an existing Commander deck.

Bottom line
If you want a boxed Street Fighter Commander deck, there is no confirmed official product to buy. If you want authentic Street Fighter MTG cards, look for the Secret Lair x Street Fighter release and treat it as individual crossover cards rather than a ready-to-play deck. Dastmalchian’s role as M. Bison connects the card-game conversation to the 2026 film, whose character work reportedly draws on real-world studies of cult leadership, fear and persuasion.
