Daisue Construction Co., Ltd. announced on October 15, 2026, that it will repurchase up to 176,000 of its shares at ¥3,355 each. The maximum authorization is worth ¥590.48 million and equals 1.71% of the company’s share capital. Daisue said the program is intended to support a flexible capital strategy as business and market conditions change.
What Daisue Construction announced
The announcement authorizes Daisue Construction to buy back as many as 176,000 shares of its own stock. The fixed repurchase price is ¥3,355 per share, putting the maximum consideration at ¥590.48 million if the full amount is purchased.
| Term | Announced figure |
|---|---|
| Announcement date | October 15, 2026 |
| Maximum shares | 176,000 |
| Share-capital proportion | 1.71% |
| Repurchase price | ¥3,355 per share |
| Maximum consideration | ¥590.48 million |
The value is mathematically consistent: 176,000 shares multiplied by ¥3,355 equals ¥590,480,000. The figures describe the authorized ceiling, not proof that every share will be repurchased.
How large is the buyback relative to Daisue’s stock?
As of September 30, 2026, Daisue reported 10,297,123 shares outstanding excluding treasury shares and held 317,102 treasury shares. The authorized 176,000-share purchase therefore represents 1.71% of the outstanding-share base cited in the announcement.
#1 Best Overall
- Shares outstanding excluding treasury shares: 10,297,123
- Treasury shares already held: 317,102
- Maximum new repurchase: 176,000
If the full authorization were executed and the acquired shares were retained as treasury stock, the number of shares held in treasury would increase. The announcement does not establish whether all 176,000 shares will be bought, how the company will handle repurchased shares, or whether any shares will later be cancelled.
Why Daisue says it is buying back shares
Daisue described the purpose as enabling “a flexible capital strategy in response to changes in the business and market environments.” That wording gives the company room to adjust capital allocation as conditions evolve; it does not identify a specific acquisition, restructuring, investment project or financial target tied to the authorization.

A buyback can reduce the number of shares available to investors if completed shares remain in treasury or are cancelled. The effect on per-share measures depends on the company’s earnings, the final number of shares acquired and what happens to those shares afterward. The announcement itself does not provide a forecast for earnings per share, return on equity, dividends or valuation.

Maximum rather than guaranteed quantity
“Up to 176,000 shares” is a limit. The final number can be lower if market, legal or other execution conditions prevent the company from reaching the ceiling.
Fixed price
The stated price is ¥3,355 per share. The maximum consideration assumes that every authorized share is acquired at that price. A reader should not interpret ¥3,355 as a forecast of the stock’s future market price or as an offer available indefinitely beyond the terms of the corporate action.
Status of execution
The October 15 announcement does not establish an execution schedule, the first purchase date, interim purchases, completion, post-buyback share counts or any cancellation decision. Those details would require a later company filing or exchange disclosure.

Who is Daisue Construction?
Daisue Construction is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under code 1814 and has ISIN JP3485400000. Construction is its primary business. The company also has real-estate, insurance-agency, worker-dispatching and security businesses. The cited company profile lists 680 employees.
These business details provide context for the company’s reference to changing business and market environments, but the buyback announcement does not quantify how any individual business segment influenced the decision.

How investors should read the announcement
- Separate authorization from completion. Treat 176,000 shares and ¥590.48 million as maximum amounts until subsequent disclosures confirm actual purchases.
- Use the stated share-count date. The 1.71% figure is based on the share information reported as of September 30, 2026; later issuance, cancellation or treasury-share changes could alter the percentage.
- Check follow-up filings. Later disclosures are needed to determine execution dates, cumulative shares purchased, remaining authorization and the treatment of acquired shares.
- Keep the rationale in context. Daisue’s stated objective is broad capital-strategy flexibility, not a guaranteed improvement in financial performance.
What the announcement does not establish
- That Daisue will purchase the entire 176,000-share allowance.
- When purchases will begin or end.
- Whether the repurchased shares will be held as treasury stock or cancelled.
- Any post-buyback effect on earnings per share, dividends, book value or market price.
- Shareholder-tax consequences.
Accordingly, this is a report of a corporate action and not a recommendation to buy or sell Daisue Construction shares.
