The Cybex Platinum Priam is a modular stroller, so the frame, seat textiles and wheels should not be assumed to arrive as one package. CYBEX describes the frame as the base for separately purchased attachments, including a Seat Pack. The exact generation and “Trekking Wheels” package in this review title are not established, so check the product labels or purchase paperwork before relying on compatibility details.
What this Priam configuration includes
CYBEX describes the Priam Frame as the stroller’s base. Its current product information lists the Lux Carry Cot, infant car seat and Seat Pack as attachments, with products sold separately. That means a frame listing alone should not be treated as a complete seat-equipped stroller.
The current 2025 Priam / e-Priam Seat Pack is described as fabric and seat components that attach to an existing Priam or e-Priam frame. The name “Lux Seat” refers to the reversible seat unit described as part of the Seat Pack; the pack is not simply another name for the bare frame. Check the seller’s exact contents, since an accessory listing may not include the frame or wheels.
Frame and Seat Pack features
Priam Frame
On its current US frame page, CYBEX lists all-wheel suspension, a reversible seat unit, an extra-large shopping basket, an XXL sun canopy, an adjustable handlebar and lockable swivel wheels. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent findings about ride comfort, durability or ease of use. The US page states a maximum child weight of 55 lb. - Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. - Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Priam / e-Priam Seat Pack
CYBEX’s 2025 Seat Pack page describes a reversible Lux Seat, one-hand recline and fold, and an extendable UPF50+ canopy. It lists a maximum child weight of 22 kg. Treat that limit as the specification on that page and check the instructions supplied for the exact product and market. CYBEX 2025 Priam / e-Priam Seat Pack
What “Trekking Wheels” means for compatibility
The available product information does not establish which wheel package is meant by “Trekking Wheels” in this configuration, or which Priam generation the specific unit uses. Do not infer that a wheel set fits merely because it is described as a Priam accessory. Match the model and generation on the frame and wheel labels or purchase documentation, then use the official instructions for that version before assembly.

Generation matters. CYBEX’s older Priam 3 page identifies all-terrain wheels and all-wheel suspension, but those details apply to Priam 3 and do not confirm the wheel specification or compatibility of a current Priam. That older page also gives a folded weight of 12.9 kg for the frame and Seat Pack; it should not be presented as the weight of a current-generation configuration. CYBEX Priam 3 product information
How to check a listing before buying
- Identify the Priam generation and market shown on the frame label, product listing or purchase documents.
- Confirm whether the listing includes the frame, Seat Pack, wheels and any other attachments. CYBEX describes these as separately selected components.
- Match the wheel product name and compatibility information to that exact generation; do not rely on “Priam” alone.
- Compare the child-weight limit and operating instructions with the official page and manual for the item being purchased.
Verdict
The Priam’s modular design can make it possible to select the frame and seat components separately, and the current manufacturer pages list useful features such as a reversible seat, suspension and a one-hand recline and fold. But the title alone is not enough to verify the generation or the named Trekking Wheels. Treat this as a parts-compatibility decision first: confirm the exact frame, wheel set and Seat Pack before buying or assembling the configuration.
