Cursed Fruit is currently listed as unobtainable in Grow a Garden. Its documented acquisition method was opening an Exotic Seed Pack, but that limited-time pack was sold from April 20 to April 27, 2025, and is also listed as unobtainable. If you already have a remaining eligible pack, it may still be worth checking its in-game options; the old method is not a dependable way to get a new pack today.
How Cursed Fruit was originally obtained
Cursed Fruit was introduced in the Easter update, alongside the Exotic Seed Pack. The update log is dated April 20, 2025. Grow a Garden Wiki update log

Players could obtain it by opening an Exotic Seed Pack. The pack’s listing gives Cursed Fruit a 0.5% chance—a community-wiki figure, not a first-party odds disclosure. The pack had five possible seed outcomes and was sold in the Limited Time Shop from April 20 through April 27, 2025. Exotic Seed Pack listing
Can you still get Cursed Fruit?
The Cursed Fruit page currently marks the crop as unobtainable, and the Exotic Seed Pack page also marks the pack as unobtainable. The crop page still describes opening an Exotic Seed Pack as its obtainment route; that explains the historical method, or what may be possible with an eligible pack already in a player’s inventory. If another player offers to transfer one, verify that the crop and proposed transfer are allowed in the live game’s trade interface before agreeing. Treat a trade as unconfirmed unless the game itself permits it; the general trade description is not proof that this specific crop can be transferred.

What to do if you want the crop
- Check your inventory. If you already have an Exotic Seed Pack, inspect its current in-game options. The historical odds were 0.5% for Cursed Fruit, so opening a pack was never a reliable way to target it.
- Check current availability. Look in the game for any newly available Exotic Seed Pack or other official acquisition route. The reviewed listings say the pack and crop are unobtainable; they do not identify a current replacement method.
- Verify any proposed player transfer in-game. Do not assume trading or gifting works for Cursed Fruit based solely on the general trade-system description.
