A slow Lamborghini Revuelto run in CSR2 is usually explained by a mismatched build, an unsuitable final drive, or launch and shift execution—not by a missing physical accessory. First identify whether the car has five purple stars or five gold stars, confirm its upgrade and fusion state, and record PP, EVO, race distance, tune, and actual elapsed time. Only then use a benchmark tune and rebuild the shift pattern around your own car.
Start by identifying what is actually slow
“My Revuelto is slower than the dyno” can describe several different problems. The car may be compared with a different star variant, a fully maxed reference, or a different race distance. It may have the right tune but an inconsistent launch, late nitrous, or shifts that no longer suit the final drive. The displayed dyno is a comparison point, while a posted elapsed time is a recorded run under someone else’s conditions. Neither is a promise that every account, update, and input sequence will reproduce the same result.
Before changing a setting, write down these identifiers from the car and the event:
- Five gold stars or five purple stars.
- Stage level for every performance part and whether all available fusion slots are filled.
- Elite status, if applicable.
- Displayed PP and EVO.
- Nitrous setting, final-drive setting, and tire setting.
- Race format and distance. A sprint, regulation race, live race, and a longer event do not give a final-drive setting the same job.
- Your best clean elapsed time over several attempts, not only one unusually good or bad run.
A Stage 5 car, a Stage 6 car missing fusions, and a fully maxed Elite car are not interchangeable even when their names are identical. Do not judge a partly built Revuelto against a maxed-car record until the build context matches.

Current Revuelto reference times, separated by star variant
The most useful published numbers are variant-specific. CSR2 Mods’ 2026 listing, updated October 1, 2026, reports a faster reference for the five-purple-star car than for the five-gold-star car. A separate gold-star entry was refreshed August 24, 2026. These are community records and tune references, not guaranteed outcomes.
| Configuration | Reported reference | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Five purple stars | Best ET 6.829 seconds; dyno 7.044 seconds. Community breakdown lists NOS 188/4.0, final drive 2.26, tires 0/100, PP 713, EVO 2420. CSR2 Mods listing updated October 1, 2026. | Use as a recent purple-star benchmark after confirming that your upgrades, fusions, Elite status, and event distance match. Exact current shift details were not verified in that listing. |
| Five gold stars | Best ET 6.870 seconds; dyno 7.093 seconds. The cited maxed-car reference lists NOS 188/4.0, final drive 2.26, tires 0/100, PP 713, EVO 2396. CSR2 Mods, 2026. | Use as a starting checkpoint for a fully built gold-star car, then verify the displayed values in your game after updates. |
| Older fully maxed guide configuration | 7.017-second run; NOS 188 bhp/4 sec, final drive 2.00, tires 0/100. AllClash, 2023, describes a perfect start, a skip into third, NOS in third, then good shifts through fourth, fifth, and sixth. | Use only as a historical test candidate. It is not the current fastest pattern for every variant or build. |
The newer records are quicker than the older 7.017-second reference and use a different final drive. That difference is evidence that tune records belong to a particular game version, car variant, build, and timing context. Do not combine the older 2.00 final drive and shift sequence with a newer record and call the result a guaranteed world-record setup.
Use the gold-star tune as a checkpoint, not a universal answer
If your car is the five-gold-star, fully maxed configuration represented by the 2026 reference, enter the tune screen and compare the displayed values with:
- NOS: 188/4.0.
- Final drive: 2.26.
- Tires: 0/100.
- PP/EVO: PP 713 and EVO 2396 in the cited reference.
These numbers are a controlled starting point for diagnosis. They are not instructions to force onto a purple-star car, an incomplete build, or an event with a different distance. The purple-star reference reports EVO 2420, so even two fully developed Revuelto variants can present different displayed values.
Take a screenshot or write down the original tune before changing it. If a later adjustment makes the car slower, you need a known baseline rather than a series of untracked guesses. After an update, check the values again: tune records can become stale, and the settings shown on a current car are more relevant than a copied screenshot.

Run a controlled baseline before changing anything
Random experimentation makes it impossible to tell whether the tune or the driver caused the difference. Establish a repeatable baseline first.
- Choose one race format and distance. Use the same event type for every comparison. Do not compare a short sprint with a longer strip and attribute the entire difference to final drive.
- Use the same car state. Do not install a fusion, remove a part, change Elite settings, or alter the tune between baseline attempts.
- Make several clean runs. Record at least five attempts when possible. Note elapsed time, launch quality, nitrous timing, missed shifts, and whether the car spun or bogged.
- Record both dyno and actual ET. The gap is diagnostic information, not proof that the car is defective.
- Change one variable only. If you alter final drive and shift timing together, you will not know which change helped.
- Repeat the same number of attempts after the change. Keep the better result only when it is repeatable, not when it is a single lucky run.
A simple log can use columns for date, star color, upgrade and fusion state, PP, EVO, NOS, final drive, tires, launch result, shift notes, dyno ET, actual ET, and comments. This prevents an old tune from being mistaken for the current one.

Check final drive against the actual race distance
Final drive is a compromise between acceleration and how long the car can stay in each gear. A shorter setup can make the launch and early acceleration feel stronger, but it reaches shift points sooner and may run out of revs earlier. A longer setup can carry speed farther, but it may feel less urgent at the start. The useful setting depends on where the finish line is, not on a number copied from an unrelated event.
Symptoms of a final drive that is too short
- The engine reaches the useful part of the rev range unusually early.
- You are forced into an extra shift before the finish or spend too much time near the limiter.
- The car looks strong off the line but loses its advantage late in the strip.
Symptoms of a final drive that is too long
- The launch feels flat despite a clean input.
- The engine drops out of its strongest pull after a shift.
- The car still has unused revs or feels reluctant to reach the next useful shift before the finish.
Make a small final-drive change, run the same test set, and then remap the shifts. A final-drive change moves the point at which a gear produces its best acceleration; keeping an old shift pattern after changing the gearing can hide a good tune.
Remap the shift pattern after every meaningful tune change
There is no single verified shift pattern that applies to every Revuelto. Listen to the car and watch what happens immediately after each shift. If the next gear pulls cleanly, the shift was useful. If the car bogs, the shift was early or the gearing no longer suits that point. If the engine rushes to the limiter before the shift, it was late or the final drive is too short for that section.

Launch
Start by making the launch repeatable. A perfect start in one run followed by wheelspin or a weak launch in the next can create a larger difference than a small tune adjustment. Practice the same launch input until the first gear begins each test in the same way. Record launch quality separately from the final ET so a poor opening does not lead you to discard a sound tune.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsEarly shifts
Test the first shift around the point where the car stops gaining speed strongly, rather than copying a speed or tachometer position from another build. Gear ratios, PP/EVO, fusions, and final drive all affect that point. Make one small timing change, then compare several runs.
Nitrous timing
Do not assume that pressing NOS at the same instant as another player will work on your car. The older AllClash guide’s test sequence uses NOS in third gear after a perfect start and a skip into third. That is a concrete experiment, not a current universal rule. Try it only after your build matches the relevant older configuration closely enough to make the comparison meaningful. If the car spins, bogs, or reaches the finish before the boost can pay off, test a different timing point while leaving every other setting unchanged.
Later gears
The historical pattern calls for good shifts through fourth, fifth, and sixth after the nitrous activation. Treat “good shifts” as a cue to test clean, repeatable timing—not as a guarantee that the same touch point remains optimal after a final-drive change. A later gear that pulls strongly may justify holding it slightly longer; a gear that falls flat may need an earlier shift. Judge by acceleration after the shift and by repeatable elapsed time.
Separate tune loss from execution loss
When the dyno looks competitive but the ET is slow, isolate the driver inputs before rebuilding the car. Use this sequence:

- Highly-detailed die-cast precision model
- Die-cast metal body with plastic parts
- Officially licensed product by Maisto International
- Collectible quality True-to-scale detailed vehicle
- Detailed die-cast precision model
- Run the reference tune without changing it and count clean versus compromised launches.
- Repeat while concentrating only on launch consistency. If the ET improves materially, the main problem was at the start.
- Keep the launch consistent and test one shift at a time. Note whether the car accelerates immediately after each shift.
- Keep launch and shifts consistent, then move NOS by one clearly defined timing point. Compare a group of runs rather than a single attempt.
- Only after execution is repeatable should you test final drive or another tune value.
This order matters because a tune cannot compensate for a different launch or missed shift on every attempt. Conversely, perfect inputs cannot make a Stage 5 or incompletely fused build match a fully maxed benchmark.
Why the dyno can be slower than a posted ET
The cited 2026 references show that the recorded runs are faster than their displayed dynos: the purple-star entry lists 6.829 seconds against a 7.044-second dyno, and the gold-star entry lists 6.870 seconds against a 7.093-second dyno. That does not automatically mean the dyno is wrong. A dyno is a standardized estimate or comparison value, while the posted ET is a particular test run using a particular input sequence and timing condition.
Use the gap as a troubleshooting signal:
- Small, repeatable gap: The car may be performing normally for that tune and driver.
- Large or erratic gap: Check launch consistency, missed shifts, NOS timing, race distance, and whether the reference build actually matches yours.
- Dyno and ET both slower than the reference: Verify star color, upgrade stages, fusions, Elite status, PP/EVO, and the event format before adjusting the tune.
- One unusually fast ET: Repeat it. A single record is not a reliable baseline until you can reproduce the sequence.
Do not “fix” a normal dyno-to-ET difference by chasing a posted number from another configuration.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to compare two competing Revuelto tunes fairly
When two guides disagree, compare their metadata before comparing their final-drive values. Use this checklist:
- Star color: gold or purple.
- Publication or refresh date and likely game-version context.
- Stage 5 or Stage 6 parts, fusion completeness, and Elite status.
- PP and EVO.
- NOS value and unit. “188/4.0” and “188 bhp/4 sec” describe the same style of setting but should still be recorded exactly as the guide presents it.
- Final drive and tire setting.
- Race distance and format.
- Dyno ET compared with the actual test ET.
- Complete shift and NOS sequence.
A record without matching build context is not a fair head-to-head benchmark. The 2023 AllClash setup uses final drive 2.00 and reports 7.017 seconds, while the 2026 references use 2.26 and report 6.829 seconds for purple stars and 6.870 seconds for gold stars. The difference is why the guides should be read as version- and configuration-specific evidence rather than blended into one recipe.

Common failure modes and the specific correction
| What you observe | Likely explanation | Correction |
|---|---|---|
| Your car is several tenths slower than a posted record. | Different star variant, incomplete fusions, lower stage parts, different PP/EVO, or a different event. | Match the configuration first; do not retune around an unfair comparison. |
| The first gear is inconsistent. | Launch input varies or the car spins. | Practice and log launch quality separately; compare only clean runs. |
| The car bogs after a shift. | The shift is early, or the final drive changed the useful shift point. | Move that shift slightly later and test again; remap after gearing changes. |
| The engine reaches the limiter too soon. | Shift is late or final drive is too short for the distance. | Test an earlier shift and a small longer-gearing adjustment. |
| NOS makes the run worse. | It is being used before the car can convert the boost into forward speed, or at a point that causes spin. | Hold launch and shifts constant, then test a different NOS point, including the historical third-gear test only when appropriate. |
| A new tune works once and fails afterward. | The result was a one-off run or execution is not repeatable. | Keep the change only if it improves a group of comparable attempts. |
| The dyno number looks disappointing but ET is competitive. | Dyno and recorded ET measure different things. | Use repeated actual runs and the gap between the two as your diagnostic record. |
A practical test plan for your next session
Use the following worksheet whenever the Revuelto feels slower than expected:
- Identify: write “gold” or “purple,” then record stages, fusions, Elite status, PP, and EVO.
- Freeze: choose one race distance and save the current NOS, final drive, and tire values.
- Baseline: complete five clean attempts. Record each ET and mark launch, shift, and NOS errors.
- Compare: if you are using the gold-star maxed reference, check 188/4.0, 2.26, and 0/100, plus PP 713 and EVO 2396. For a purple-star comparison, note the published EVO 2420 instead of assuming the gold value applies.
- Correct execution: repeat the baseline while changing only one input category: launch, shifts, or NOS.
- Test gearing: make one small final-drive change for the actual event distance and repeat the same number of attempts.
- Remap: move shift points to where the car pulls after the new gearing. Do not retain a pattern merely because it worked on a different setting.
- Keep evidence: retain the fastest repeatable sequence and the settings that produced it. Recheck after a game update.
If the car remains slow after this process, the remaining difference is more likely to be build state or variant context than a missing secret shift. Recheck every fusion and part stage before making another tune change.
What the official game information does—and does not—say
The official CSR2 site identifies the game as available on iOS and Android and links to a store. It also states that store offer availability and pricing vary by region. That establishes product and storefront context, not a performance guarantee. No physical guide, controller, phone accessory, or purchase is established as a way to reduce Revuelto elapsed time. The fixes in this article are in-game checks: matching the build, tuning for the race distance, and making launch, NOS, and shifts repeatable.
Bottom line
Diagnose the Revuelto in this order: variant and build, race format, baseline tune, execution, then final drive and remapped shifts. For a matching five-gold-star maxed car, 188/4.0 NOS, 2.26 final drive, and 0/100 tires are a useful 2026 checkpoint, while the five-purple-star and older 2023 references require their own context. Treat 6.829, 6.870, 7.017, and the cited dyno values as recorded references—not promises—and keep only changes that produce repeatable improvement on your car.
