Creality’s K3 is a four-nozzle 3D printer built around the company’s KliTek nozzle-changing system. Creality says it can switch nozzles in 4.8 seconds; that is a manufacturer claim, not an independently verified result. The system is designed for multi-color and multi-material printing, as well as using different nozzle sizes in one job.
How the K3’s four-nozzle system works
Unlike a setup that feeds several filaments through one shared nozzle, Creality’s KliTek system uses separate filament channels and changes to a different nozzle for the next material or color. That approach is intended to reduce the purging associated with switching materials through a shared nozzle.
Creality’s product page gives a 4.8-second nozzle-change figure. Its campaign describes color or material switching in less than 15 seconds. Both timings are company claims; the available information does not establish independent measurements.

What the K3 is designed to print
Multiple colors and materials
Separate nozzles are intended to let the printer combine colors or materials within one object, including rigid and flexible TPU and soluble or snap-off support materials. Creality also promotes a four-color, CMYK-style workflow to blend a broader range of colors. The available information does not include independent color-accuracy testing.
Different nozzle sizes in one job
The K3 is presented as able to use different nozzle diameters during a print—for example, a 0.4 mm nozzle for detailed outer walls and a 0.8 mm nozzle for faster infill. Creality’s product information lists 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm sizes. The standard package was reported to include four 0.4 mm brass-tipped nozzles; a mixed-size kit was planned for separate sale after launch. Check the regional package and current accessory availability before buying.

Flexible filament and additional colors
A launch report says the standard machine handles 95A TPU, while optional multi-material hardware is needed for softer 90A and 85A grades. Creality’s campaign discusses TPU capability down to 80A, but the exact configuration required for that material is not established here. Confirm the supported hardness and required hardware for the specific regional model before planning a print.

The launch report also describes four built-in spool slots and an optional CFS Hub for connecting the K3 to Creality’s CFS system for additional colors. Confirm that the hub and intended workflow are available for the version you are considering.

What Creality’s performance figures mean
Creality advertises reduced print time and filament use, but those figures should be read as company claims rather than expected results for every job.

Creality has also reported testing positioning accuracy within 25 micrometers after more than 600,000 nozzle changes. That is a company-reported test, not a third-party endurance result. No independent hands-on review or controlled K3 performance test was established in the available reporting, so reliability and real-world print outcomes remain unverified.

Software support is still important
The launch report says Creality Print 7.0 and later support K3 multi-nozzle features, and that OrcaSlicer also works. Creality Print 7.3.0 release notes list K3 multi-nozzle support with 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm presets. The printer’s Klipper-based firmware was reported to be rolling out in phases, and Creality Europe’s FAQ noted that a feature was unavailable in its then-current prerelease build and expected in a later beta or update.

Launch pricing and availability
Notebookcheck reported on October 11, 2026, that China presales had opened at ¥4,599 (approximately $680), and cited a JD.com listing around ¥4,589.15. It also reported that Creality expected international pricing to be below $900 and international preorders to open in mid-October. The international figure was an expectation, not a confirmed global price, and the China figures are launch-period indications rather than a current worldwide price.
Creality’s campaign page still says “Coming Q3 2026,” while the October 11 report describes China presales. Because those signals differ and availability can change by market, check Creality’s regional store for current stock, price, package contents and preorder status.
