Sometimes—but not under one clearly documented rule for every Cox customer. A Cox-hosted page now branded Spectrum says unlimited data is included with Spectrum Internet, while other Cox-hosted support pages retain older Cox terms with a 1.25 TB monthly allowance and optional data add-ons. Check your bill or account and confirm the offer for your service address before assuming unlimited data is included or pricing an add-on.
Does Cox have unlimited data?
Cox-hosted pages currently describe two different situations. The add-data page, which displayed Spectrum branding when accessed on October 7, 2026, says unlimited data is included with Spectrum Internet and that there are no data caps or overage fees. Other Cox-hosted support material still describes the legacy Cox allowance and optional additional-data plans.
Those pages do not establish that the Spectrum-branded offer applies to every existing Cox account or market. To find out what applies to you, review the data terms on your current bill or account, or contact the provider with your service address. Cox’s policy language says prices and terms can vary by address and existing account features, and that packages and policies may change.
What is Cox’s data cap, and does it charge overage fees?
Cox-hosted support pages retain legacy policy terms: a monthly allowance of 1.25 TB (1,280 GB), followed by automatic 50 GB overage blocks at $10 each, up to a stated $100 monthly maximum. Unused data does not roll over. The page does not state a date for these figures, and it does not establish that they apply to every current account or to the newer Spectrum-branded offer. Confirm the terms shown for your account before relying on them.

The same legacy material describes optional unlimited and 500 GB additional-data plans. The published figures below are not interchangeable with a confirmed quote for your address:
| Published figure | What it describes | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| 1.25 TB (1,280 GB) per month | Legacy Cox data allowance | Cox support policy; page date not stated. Applicability to a specific current account is not established. |
| $10 per 50 GB block; $100 monthly maximum | Legacy overage charges after the allowance | Cox support policy; page date not stated. Confirm whether these terms apply to your account. |
| $50 per month for unlimited additional data; $30 per month for 500 GB additional data | Optional add-ons listed in a regional Cox price list | Regional price list published about eight months before October 7, 2026; not established as current nationwide pricing. |
How much does Cox charge for unlimited data?
There is no single current price established for every Cox customer. A Cox-hosted search result crawled roughly three weeks before October 7, 2026 displayed promotional starting prices for packages that included unlimited data: $115 per month for 500 Mbps, $130 per month for 1 Gig, and $145 per month for 2 Gig. The result said taxes and fees were excluded and no annual contract was required. Because the page surfaced Spectrum branding and the offer was promotional, these are observed starting prices—not a guaranteed rate for a Cox account or address.

- Access Point Mode - Supports AP Mode to transform your wired connection into wireless network, an ideal wireless router for home
- Advanced Security with WPA3 - The latest Wi-Fi security protocol, WPA3, brings new capabilities to improve cybersecurity in personal networks
A separate Cox regional price list, published about eight months before October 7, 2026, showed $50 per month for unlimited additional data. That is local, dated context rather than a current nationwide quote. Cox says pricing and packages can vary with service address and account features, so use the amount shown after signing in or entering your address as the relevant offer.

The Cox-hosted Spectrum-branded page says unlimited data is included with Spectrum Internet. The legacy Cox support material instead describes a 1.25 TB allowance and paid additional-data options. Since the pages do not resolve how the newer offer applies to every existing Cox-branded account, do not infer that the included feature has been applied to your plan unless your account or bill confirms it.

How to compare the offer shown for your address
When more than one package is available, compare the terms that determine your actual monthly cost and data exposure—not just the advertised download speed.
- Monthly total: Check the price after promotional discounts and add taxes, fees, and any data or equipment charges that appear for your account.
- Speed tier: Compare the advertised download and upload speeds for each available package.
- Data treatment: Verify whether unlimited data is included, offered as an add-on, or not shown for the package; if no unlimited feature is active, check the allowance and overage terms.
- Equipment: Confirm whether a gateway is included or incurs a charge.
- Offer conditions: Check how long a promotion lasts and whether a contract or price-lock condition applies. The promotional search result described no annual contract, but that wording should not be assumed to cover every offer.
- Address eligibility: Enter your service address or ask the provider to confirm that the package and terms are available there.
What Panoramic Wifi equipment does—and does not—change
Cox describes its Panoramic Wifi Gateway as a modem-router combination. Its gateway information names Arris TG1682, Technicolor CGM4141, and Technicolor CGM4331 as examples included in some Easy Connect kits; those examples do not identify the model issued to a particular customer.

Panoramic Wifi Pods are optional extenders intended to improve coverage in areas where the gateway’s Wi-Fi signal is weaker. Cox says Pods work with Wifi 5, Wifi 6, and Wifi 6E Panoramic Wifi gateways. They can address a coverage problem inside the home, but do not change a data allowance, remove overage charges, or establish a different internet-plan price.

Cox also describes app controls for viewing connected devices and changing network settings, and says Advanced Security is included through the app. These are network-management and security features, not evidence that unlimited data is active on an account.
