Possibly, but there is no verified evidence that a Decart Lucy model is currently listed in Amazon Bedrock, deployed through Bedrock Marketplace, or eligible for Bedrock Custom Model Import. Developers should treat Bedrock support as an open compatibility question. Check the exact Lucy version in the live AWS catalog and Region, then compare its model artifacts and license with AWS import requirements. If no Bedrock route fits, Decart documents a separate API and SDK for direct integration.
What is—and is not—established
Amazon Bedrock can expose models through several mechanisms: AWS’s model catalog, Bedrock Marketplace listings, and Custom Model Import for compatible model artifacts. These mechanisms are separate products with different eligibility rules. A general statement that Bedrock supports third-party models does not prove that Decart is a Bedrock provider or that a particular Lucy release can run there.
The official material reviewed through October 13, 2026 does not identify a current Decart Lucy listing in the Bedrock catalog or Marketplace, and it does not confirm that any Lucy checkpoint meets Custom Model Import requirements. Availability can change by account, AWS Region, model version, and endpoint, so an implementation decision must use the live catalog rather than an old announcement or a search result.

Decart separately documents Lucy video services, including Lucy 2.1 VTON for video editing and Lucy Dev I2V for image-to-video generation. Its JavaScript SDK shows a queue-based workflow outside Bedrock. That is a documented direct-API path to evaluate, not evidence of Bedrock integration.

Read AWS’s model availability and compatibility documentation, model catalog, Bedrock Marketplace guide, and Custom Model Import documentation as separate references. They describe routes and constraints; none of those pages, by themselves, confirms a Decart listing.
Step-by-step: check whether your Bedrock account can use a Lucy model
1. Search the live catalog for the exact model
- Open the Bedrock model catalog in the AWS account and Region where your application will run.
- Search for “Decart” and the precise Lucy release name, not just a generic video or image-to-video category.
- Open the model card and record the provider name, model version, supported invocation API, endpoint type, input and output formats, and listed Regions.
- Confirm that your account has access to that model and that the Region is enabled for the intended endpoint.
A catalog result is the strongest indication of a native Bedrock route, but the model card still governs how it can be called. A model that appears in one Region or through one API may not be available through another.
2. Check Marketplace independently
Search Bedrock Marketplace for the exact Decart and Lucy names. Marketplace is not a directory of every external AI API; it is a subscription and deployment path for models that have an AWS listing.

- Read the license and confirm that your intended commercial, internal, and data-processing uses are allowed.
- Check the deployment instructions, supported inference API, instance or capacity expectations, and available Regions.
- Confirm how upgrades, model versions, monitoring, and endpoint lifecycle are handled.
The reviewed AWS material does not identify a Decart Marketplace listing. Therefore, do not describe Marketplace deployment as available until the listing appears in your account and its terms have been checked.

3. Test Custom Model Import eligibility before preparing infrastructure
Custom Model Import is not a universal adapter for hosted model APIs. It expects a model package that satisfies AWS’s documented artifact and architecture rules. The current import documentation specifies requirements involving Hugging Face weights format, supported architectures, model size and context limits, transformer version, and supported Regions.
Ask Decart—or inspect the licensed package—for each of the following before attempting an import:
- The exact checkpoint and version intended for deployment.
- Whether weights are supplied in the Hugging Face format AWS accepts.
- The model architecture and transformer implementation, including the version required to load it.
- Parameter size and context characteristics compared with AWS’s current limits.
- Whether the license grants you the right to copy, transform, and deploy the artifacts in your AWS account.
- The Regions in which the imported model can run.
An API key for a Decart service does not satisfy any of these artifact requirements. If Decart provides only a hosted endpoint and no importable checkpoint with compatible rights, Custom Model Import is not the appropriate route.

Video models add compatibility questions beyond a model name. For the selected Bedrock route, document the accepted media inputs, output container and encoding, maximum dimensions or duration, asynchronous versus synchronous invocation, job-status behavior, error model, and throughput expectations. AWS organizes compatibility by API, endpoint, and Region; verify all three in the model card and runtime documentation.

Then compare those details with the Lucy task you need. Lucy 2.1 VTON is documented as a video-editing API, while Lucy Dev I2V is documented for image-to-video generation. A route that supports text or image generation but not the required video operation is not functionally compatible, even if the provider name appears in a catalog.
5. Validate account, security, and operational access
- Confirm that the AWS account can subscribe to or invoke the model and that organizational policies do not block the service.
- Check the IAM actions, endpoint permissions, storage access, and logging controls required by the chosen route.
- Determine where uploaded video and generated output are stored, how long jobs remain available, and which party handles encryption and deletion.
- Plan quotas, retries, concurrency, and failure handling for long-running video jobs rather than assuming image-model latency or limits.
These checks are implementation responsibilities even when a listing exists. The catalog establishes availability; it does not automatically prove that your account, policy set, or workload design is ready.
Using Decart directly when Bedrock is not available
Decart’s own documentation provides a separate path. The Lucy 2.1 VTON API reference describes API-key-authenticated video jobs for video editing. The Lucy Dev I2V reference covers image-to-video generation. Decart’s JavaScript SDK repository demonstrates a queue-based workflow for submitting work and handling job results.
- Create the Decart account and API credentials required by the endpoint documentation.
- Choose the Lucy endpoint that matches your task instead of assuming that one model handles every video operation.
- Submit a small representative job and record the request schema, accepted media formats, job identifier, status transitions, and returned output.
- Implement polling or the SDK’s queue handling, with timeouts and retry rules appropriate for video processing.
- Move credentials to a server-side secret store, restrict their scope where supported, and prevent them from reaching browser code or logs.
- Measure latency, throughput, failure rates, and output quality with your own workload before selecting production capacity.
A direct API integration can be the practical fallback when no Bedrock catalog or Marketplace route exists. It also creates a different operating boundary: your application calls Decart directly, while AWS services can still handle surrounding storage, orchestration, identity, or monitoring if your architecture requires them.

How to compare a confirmed Bedrock option with the direct API
Do not compare providers on a model name alone. Use the same workload and record the following dimensions:

| License and artifact rights | May you use, modify, store, and deploy the model or generated media for your intended purpose? |
| Deployment responsibility | Who operates capacity, upgrades, scaling, patching, and incident response? |
| API and SDK fit | Does your existing client code, queue, authentication, and observability stack work without a redesign? |
| Account access | Do your AWS organization controls or Decart credentials permit production use? |
The cited documentation does not provide a current, like-for-like price or benchmark comparison for Decart on Bedrock versus Decart’s own API. Obtain current quotations and run controlled tests for your region, resolution, concurrency, and job mix instead of inferring cost or latency from another model.

Third-party support describes a platform capability, not a provider-specific listing. Return to the live catalog and Marketplace search and capture the exact model card or listing before making an availability claim.

Custom Model Import requires an eligible artifact, architecture, format, size, transformer version, license, and Region. Request the checkpoint details and compare them with AWS’s import rules. If those artifacts are unavailable, use a supported listing or the direct Decart API.

“A model in one Region will work everywhere.”
Model access and API support vary by Region and endpoint. Test in the production Region, and include Region selection in deployment configuration rather than hard-coding an assumption from a different account.
“Any Lucy endpoint can replace another.”
Lucy 2.1 VTON and Lucy Dev I2V represent different video tasks. Map your product’s operation to the endpoint documentation, then verify input and output behavior with a representative job.
“A successful demo proves production readiness.”
Video jobs can expose queue, timeout, quota, storage, and concurrency issues that a single request will not reveal. Exercise retries, cancellation, oversized inputs, malformed media, and simultaneous jobs before committing to an architecture.
A defensible decision rule
Choose native Bedrock invocation only when the exact Decart model and version appear in your live catalog with the required API, endpoint, Region, and account access. Choose Marketplace only when a Decart listing supplies acceptable licensing and deployment terms. Choose Custom Model Import only when the licensed checkpoint passes every AWS artifact and architecture requirement. If none of those conditions is met, integrate the documented Decart API or SDK directly and keep the boundary explicit in your design.
Recheck the AWS catalog, Marketplace, import requirements, and Decart’s current model documentation immediately before launch. Model catalogs, APIs, licenses, and regional availability can change within the life of a project; an earlier “supported” result is not a permanent guarantee.
