The right way to list Confluence pages with owners and dates depends on whether you use Cloud or Data Center, and whether “owner” means the current point person or the original creator. In Cloud, use the Content manager to review and filter content in one space; use the Legacy content export only for migrated legacy pages. In Data Center, an administrator can query the database for page creators and date fields. These methods do not all produce the same fields or cover the same content.
Choose the method that matches your Confluence edition and reporting need

Use the Content manager to review a Cloud space
Atlassian describes the Content manager as an admin tool for Confluence Premium and Enterprise. A space admin can open it to inspect and filter content within that space, including by created or last-updated date and by owner.
- Open the space you want to review.
- Select More actions (•••), then Space settings.
- Open Content manager.
- Apply the relevant owner or date filters to narrow the space’s content.
Use this for a scoped content review, not as proof that you have a complete site inventory. The content tree table includes published pages and whiteboards, but excludes drafts and databases. Drafts are visible only to their author, and Atlassian describes databases as still in beta in this documentation. The Last active filter is also incomplete: it omits pages with children as a precaution related to inherited permissions.
The general Content manager documentation does not describe a CSV export containing every page, current owner, and date across a whole Cloud site. If you need a downloadable cross-space inventory, confirm which admin or API options are available in your own Cloud environment and whether your permissions allow their use; do not assume the Content manager itself produces that report.

Check the owner and update information on one Cloud page
On an individual page, content information may show when it was last published or updated and identify the owner below the title. What appears at the top is controlled by the administrator, so the details can differ between sites. This is useful for checking a particular page, but it does not create a bulk list.
Do not treat the creator as automatically equivalent to the current owner. Atlassian says the creator is the default owner, but ownership can be transferred. A new owner needs access to the space and edit access to that item. That distinction matters when interpreting reports: a creator field identifies who created the page, not necessarily who is responsible for it now.

Export owner and date fields for Cloud legacy content
For legacy content in a selected Cloud space, a space admin can export a CSV. Atlassian defines legacy content in this context as content previously migrated from Server or Data Center to Cloud.

- Open Space settings.
- Go to General, then Legacy content.
- Choose Pages or Templates.
- Select Export CSV.
For each legacy page, the CSV includes the space name and key, title, author, owner, eligibility status, creation date, last-modified date, and a direct link. The export is limited to legacy pages or templates in that space; it is not a general inventory of all current pages.

Query the database for a Data Center page inventory
For Confluence Data Center, Atlassian provides SQL examples for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL. The current-page query can return the title, creator, creation date, last modifier, and last-modified date. It filters to page content, retains the latest version with prevver IS NULL, and keeps current content with content_status = 'current'. The examples can also join spaces for their names or filter by space keys.
Use the database route only if you have the appropriate administrator or DBA access and understand the query’s scope. The sample fields identify creator and last modifier, not necessarily the current owner. Removing the latest-version condition can return a row for each historical version. Filtering to current status excludes drafts and trashed pages.
These queries run directly against the database, outside Confluence’s application permission model. Their output may expose creator and last-modifier usernames across the instance, so restrict access to people authorized to view instance-wide user activity and review any modified query before running it.
