To use Conan Exiles admin commands, first enable administrator access: open Settings > Server Settings, select Make Me Admin, and enter the server’s AdminPassword. On a PC, press Ctrl+Shift+C for the admin panel, or press Insert or ~ to open the text command line. Console players may need a USB keyboard, and some teleport commands are unavailable on PlayStation 4.
The command reference below separates one-time actions from server-setting changes, identifies who or what each command affects, and notes platform and safety limitations documented by Funcom and the Official Conan Exiles Wiki.
Enable admin mode before entering commands
Admin commands do nothing until your character has administrator rights. In single-player, or on a server where you are the administrator, use the in-game settings route:
- Open Settings.
- Select Server Settings.
- Choose Make Me Admin.
- Enter the server’s
AdminPasswordand confirm.
On a server, the password is the credential that grants administration rights. The technical manual describes it as: “This password gives administration rights.” If you prefer the text interface, enter MakeMeAdmin [AdminPassword], replacing the brackets and password with the actual value. Do not include the square brackets.

If the password is rejected, verify that you are connected to the intended server and that you have the current password. A regular player cannot grant themselves rights with a guessed or obsolete password.
Open the admin panel or command line

Funcom’s Conan Exiles Technical Manual documents Ctrl+Shift+C for the admin command panel. The panel presents clickable controls for common actions and can help you identify item entries before using a spawn command.

PC text console
Press Insert or ~ to open the command line, then type a command and submit it. The exact key that works depends on keyboard layout and game version; try the other documented key if one does not open the line.
Xbox and PlayStation
The menu path for granting admin access remains the practical starting point, but command entry may require a physical keyboard connected to the console. The Wiki specifically notes that a keyboard may be required. PlayStation 4 has an additional limitation: Teleport and SummonPlayer may not be available. Treat those functions as platform-dependent rather than guaranteed.
Core movement and player-targeting commands
These commands affect your character or another named player. A command that targets a player generally requires the in-game name exactly as the server recognizes it.

Coordinate teleports
Use TeleportPlayer X Y Z when you already know the destination coordinates. Substitute numeric values for X, Y, and Z. If a different player is the target, place the player name before the three numbers according to the command syntax shown in the admin documentation. Coordinate work is sensitive to map position and game build, so record the destination before moving a player who may be carrying valuable equipment.
Moving a player who is stuck
For a player trapped in terrain or unable to reach you, SummonPlayer [PlayerName] brings that character to your location. If you instead need to travel to the player, use TeleportToPlayer [PlayerName]. On PS4, neither function should be assumed to work; use ordinary in-game recovery methods when the command is unavailable.
Items, attributes and followers
Spawn an item
SpawnItem [ItemID] [Quantity] creates the specified number of an item. Replace [ItemID] with the game’s internal item identifier and [Quantity] with a whole-number amount. Item IDs are easy to mistype, so use the admin panel to identify an entry whenever possible instead of relying on an unverified list. A wrong ID can produce no item or an unintended item.
Change a player attribute
SetStat [stat] [value] changes a player attribute. The documented examples include AttributeHealth and AttributeStamina. For example, the structure is SetStat AttributeHealth 500; choose a value appropriate to your server and understand that extreme values can disrupt normal progression.
Change a follower attribute
SetFollowerStat [stat] [value] applies the same style of change to a follower. The command acts on the follower context rather than directly changing the administrator’s own character, so confirm that the intended follower is active before submitting it.

Communication and player identification
Broadcast a server-wide message
BroadcastMessage [Message] displays a pop-up message to every player currently online. Replace the bracketed text with the notice you want to send. Use it for maintenance warnings, event instructions or an explanation of an emergency teleport so players understand why their characters moved.
Identify a player’s names
PrintPlayerInfo reports Steam and in-game character names. Run it when a player cannot be targeted because the visible name differs from the account name, or when you need to distinguish two similar character names before using a player-targeting command.
Inspect server health and settings
Check performance and population
GetServerHealth reports server performance and population statistics. Run it before and after a major administrative action if you need a quick operational snapshot. The output is diagnostic; it does not change gameplay settings.
List available settings
GetAllServerSettings prints the server settings available to the current build. This is safer than guessing a variable name from an old command list, because server options can change between game versions and platform builds.
Change a server setting with SetServerSetting
SetServerSetting serverSetting[FString] Value[FString] changes a server setting while in-game. Replace the first placeholder with the setting name and the second with its value. Quotation marks may be required, particularly when a value contains spaces or when the parser expects a string.

This command is different from a one-time convenience action: it changes server behavior. Before applying it:
- Run
GetAllServerSettingsand confirm the exact setting name exposed by your build. - Write down the original value, including capitalization and punctuation.
- Change one setting at a time so you can identify the cause of an unexpected result.
- Tell connected players what will change and whether a restart or reconnect may be needed.
- Restore the recorded value if the result harms progression, balance or stability.
Funcom’s Technical Manual v1.4 warns: “These settings remain hidden for a reason. These can have an extremely negative impact on your gameplay experience. Use with caution.” That warning applies especially to undocumented or extreme values. The manual’s example dedicated-server capacities are version-1.4 examples, not current platform-wide hosting limits, so do not use them to size a modern server.

Both interfaces depend on admin rights. Opening a panel or console without first authenticating does not grant permission.

Command support is not identical across PC, Xbox and PlayStation. The Official Conan Exiles Wiki notes that its client-command list may omit server commands or variables, and that third-party “complete” lists can be build-dependent. Check the commands exposed by your own installation, especially after an update.
- PC: Funcom documents both the admin-panel shortcut and text-console keys.
- Xbox: A connected keyboard may be needed for command entry; confirm that the current console build exposes the command you need.
- PlayStation: A keyboard may be required, and the Wiki specifically warns that
TeleportorSummonPlayermay be unavailable on PS4.
Do not treat a command working in single-player on PC as proof that it will work on a console server or a different game build.

Troubleshoot commands that fail
“Unknown command” or no visible response
Confirm that admin mode was granted, that the command is spelled exactly as documented, and that you submitted it in the command line rather than ordinary chat. Then compare the command with the output of GetAllServerSettings when the issue concerns a server variable.
The wrong player or no player is targeted
Run PrintPlayerInfo to distinguish the Steam name from the in-game character name. Re-enter the target name exactly, and avoid adding quotation marks unless the command parser requires them.
An item does not spawn
Check the item ID in the admin panel and verify that the quantity is a valid number. A valid command with an incorrect ID will not produce the intended object.
A teleport command is unavailable
Check the platform first. PS4 may not support Teleport or SummonPlayer. On any platform, test a less destructive administrative action after re-authenticating, and consult the command set exposed by the current build rather than an old list.
A server setting causes unexpected gameplay
Stop making additional changes, restore the original value you recorded, and notify players before testing again. Hidden settings can affect progression and balance in ways that are not obvious from the setting name.

Recover a stuck teammate
- Confirm the player’s exact in-game name with
PrintPlayerInfo. - Authenticate as administrator.
- Use
SummonPlayer [PlayerName]to bring the player to you, or useTeleportToPlayer [PlayerName]if you need to travel to them. - Explain the intervention with
BroadcastMessage [Message]if other players are affected.
Move a character to a known location
- Obtain and verify the destination coordinates.
- Authenticate and open the command line.
- Enter
TeleportPlayer X Y Z, adding the target player name first when moving someone else. - Confirm the character arrived before issuing another movement command.
Safely adjust a server option
- Run
GetAllServerSettings. - Record the current value and identify the exact setting exposed by your version.
- Apply
SetServerSetting serverSetting[FString] Value[FString], quoting string values when necessary. - Check the result and restore the recorded value if gameplay or stability degrades.
