The vivo V70 Elite is the better fit if you want a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 platform, a dedicated 50MP OIS telephoto camera and higher rated wired charging. The realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition offers a larger, faster-refresh display, a listed 200MP main camera, greater battery capacity and Hogwarts-themed design and extras. Neither is a universal winner, and the available India price snapshots are not directly comparable by configuration or stock.

What is the price difference in India?
There is no dependable like-for-like price difference in the captured listings: their sellers, stock status and memory configurations do not match. On 7 October 2026, 91mobiles showed the vivo V70 Elite at ₹66,999 via Amazon and the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition at ₹62,999, marked out of stock. Android Central also reported a ₹62,999 India price for the realme edition in 2026. These are dated listing or reported prices, not confirmed current offers or manufacturer launch prices.

That figure is for a specific configuration and is not directly comparable with the 91mobiles Amazon-linked price. Check live stock, seller, storage and the final checkout price before deciding; the apparent gap between the two 91mobiles prices should not be treated as a guaranteed saving.

Which phone has the better display and performance?
Choose realme for screen size and listed refresh rate
The realme’s 6.78-inch display is larger than the vivo’s 6.59-inch screen, and its listed 144Hz refresh rate is higher than the vivo’s 120Hz. That makes the realme the stronger specification-sheet choice if you prioritize a larger viewing area or a higher refresh-rate ceiling. The figures do not establish brightness, color accuracy or how often apps actually run at the maximum refresh rate.
Choose vivo for its listed processor platform
The vivo uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which vivo identifies as a 4nm chip; the realme listing names a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max. These are different platforms, but the available specifications do not establish how the two exact phones compare in benchmarks, gaming or sustained workloads. Avoid treating the processor names alone as a measured speed verdict.

The vivo’s official configurations include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with options from 8GB+256GB to 12GB+512GB. The realme comparison listing gives 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. If you need more built-in space, compare the specific vivo 512GB offer against the realme SKU actually available, rather than assuming every listing uses the same configuration.

How do their cameras differ?
vivo: a dedicated telephoto camera
The V70 Elite pairs a 50MP OIS main camera with a separate 50MP OIS telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide. A dedicated telephoto module gives the camera system a distinct tool for zoomed-in framing; its presence does not, by itself, establish the quality of portraits or zoom images.

- The ultra-strong magnetic design, combined with powerful magnetic rings, ensures a secure hold that will never come loose. It is fully compatible with accessories such as MagSafe wireless chargers, magnetic car mounts and magnetic power banks, ensuring precise alignment during wireless charging.
- Skin-like matte black finish, fingerprint-resistant and yellowing-resistant: semi-transparent matte black PC back panel + smooth TPU frame, with a nano-level skin-like coating that feels silky smooth and non-sticky to the touch. Effectively repels fingerprints and grease, resists yellowing over time, and preserves the phone’s original texture.
- Slim and lightweight, yet offering all-round protection: with an ultra-slim 1.5mm design, it adds no bulk or weight; corner airbag cushioning combined with a 1.5mm raised bezel around the screen and camera lens provides protection against drops, scratches and knocks, giving you peace of mind against everyday accidents.
- Precise cut-outs, just like the real thing: moulded to match the actual device, with buttons, cameras and charging ports perfectly aligned; the buttons offer crisp, responsive feedback; the full-coverage design doesn’t interfere with the screen, ensuring a comfortable grip and replicating the feel of using the device without a case.
- High-quality materials, durable and easy to clean: Made from eco-friendly PC+TPU composite material, it is flexible, resistant to deformation and wear-resistant; the surface is water- and oil-repellent, so stains wipe away easily, keeping it looking as good as new even after prolonged use.
realme: a 200MP primary camera
The Harry Potter Edition is listed with a 200MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide. Its headline resolution is much higher than the vivo main sensor’s, but megapixel count alone does not show which phone takes better photos. No equivalent controlled head-to-head camera test is established for these two exact models. Both are listed with 50MP front cameras, so the resolution figures do not settle selfie quality either.
Which has the bigger battery or faster charging?
The realme listing gives it a 7,000mAh battery, compared with 6,500mAh on the vivo. The vivo is rated for 90W charging, while the realme listing states 80W. In short, realme leads on stated battery capacity and vivo on rated charging wattage. Capacity and charging ratings do not prove real-world battery life or charging time; those depend on usage and test conditions, and no controlled endurance comparison for these phones is established here.

What does the Harry Potter Edition add?
The special edition is principally a themed version of the realme phone, not a different class of handset. realme’s India product page describes a Hogwarts four-house crest, UV-responsive color-changing effect, chessboard-inspired textured back, Hedwig-inspired camera decoration, themed wallpapers, boot and fingerprint animations, redesigned app icons and a limited-edition gifting box.

Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Android Central’s 2026 coverage describes the box as including a Hogwarts letter, Platform 9¾ train ticket, house bookmarks, postcards, a themed case and a crest-shaped SIM ejector. Bundle contents can vary by seller or listing, so confirm the included items and edition with the retailer before buying. The edition’s extra appeal is therefore partly visual and collectible; the cited specifications do not indicate a distinct processor or camera system from the standard realme 16 Pro.
