Phones built around the Snapdragon 778G include the POCO X5 Pro, vivo V29, OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G and several Samsung Galaxy models. The chipset is shared, but the phones are not interchangeable: displays, cameras, charging, memory and software support vary. Price figures below are comparison-site snapshots, not guaranteed current offers.
What the Snapdragon 778G tells you—and what it doesn’t
Qualcomm describes the Snapdragon 778G as a 6nm 5G mobile platform with a Kryo 670 CPU, Adreno 642L GPU, X53 5G modem-RF system and Quick Charge 4+ support. These platform-level features do not establish that every phone implements the same charging speed, network bands, or other device features. Check the specific phone’s Indian variant and specifications. Qualcomm’s product listing is the source for the platform description.
Samsung’s 2021 Galaxy M52 announcement attributed to Qualcomm representative Sachin Kalantri the statement that the platform was designed to offer “many premium experiences.” That is a company representative’s characterization, not an independent test result. Samsung also reported manufacturer comparisons for the M52’s processor: 55% improved CPU performance, 85% improved GPU performance and 3.5 times improvement in AI performance versus its predecessor. Those figures are Samsung-published comparisons, not independent measurements. Samsung’s announcement provides the context.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to choose among them
Set a real price ceiling and confirm the listing
The POCO X5 Pro’s displayed October 2026 price puts its 6GB/128GB listing below the other displayed figures in this group, but that does not establish current stock or a checkout price. Confirm the phone is new or refurbished as intended, check the seller and warranty, and compare the exact storage variant. For the Reno10 Pro 5G, the comparison pages show different prices, so a single listing should not be treated as definitive.
Match the screen and cameras to your use
Display size and refresh rate are not implied by the chipset. The listed examples range from the 6.5-inch A52s to the 6.78-inch V29; the V29 and POCO X5 Pro listings specify 120Hz, as does Samsung’s M52 launch announcement. Camera megapixel counts and lens configurations also differ substantially. Compare the particular camera setup you need rather than assuming the common processor makes photo results alike.

Compare battery capacity, charging and memory
The listed capacities span 4,500mAh on the A52s to 5,000mAh on the POCO X5 Pro, A73 and M52, while stated charging ranges from 25W on Samsung’s listed models to 80W on the V29 and Reno10 Pro 5G. These specifications alone do not establish real-world battery life or charging time. Confirm RAM and storage on the seller’s exact SKU: a model name may cover more than one configuration.
Check age and remaining software support
Several models in this group were launched years ago, including the Galaxy M52 in 2021. The model listings and launch announcement cited here do not establish support end dates for each device. Before purchase, check the manufacturer’s current support information for that exact model and region, and confirm the installed software version and remaining security-update coverage.
Quick Recap
Before you buy
- Verify the exact RAM and storage variant and whether the listing is for a new or refurbished handset.
- Confirm seller stock, warranty coverage in India, return terms and the final checkout price.
- Check the Indian model’s network-band support and charging specifications rather than relying on chipset capabilities.
- Look up current software and security support for the exact model; do not infer it from the processor or an old launch announcement.
