Which phone has the better display?
On the listed specifications, the Redmi Note 17 5G has the larger, higher-contrast OLED/AMOLED panel: 6.99 inches versus the Moto’s 6.72-inch LCD. Xiaomi’s UK page lists up to 120Hz refresh and 1800 nits peak brightness; Motorola’s India support page lists up to 1050 nits HBM. Peak-brightness figures use different descriptions, so they do not establish a directly comparable real-world brightness result.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The Moto’s LCD may be a sensible trade-off if the lower listed price matters more than a larger OLED screen. Choose based on the screen size and display type you prefer; the specifications alone do not establish which panel looks better to you.
Battery capacity and charging depend on the Redmi region
Motorola lists a 7000mAh battery and 33W charging for the Moto G57 Power in India. Xiaomi lists the Redmi Note 17 5G with a 7700mAh battery and 45W charging on its UK and global pages, while its India page gives 8000mAh typical and 45W charging. Do not treat those Redmi capacities as one universal specification: use the figure on the official page for the precise market and variant you are considering.

Performance, cameras and durability: what the specs do and do not show
Processor
The Moto lists a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and the Redmi a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4; both are described as 4nm chips. Their listed maximum CPU frequencies are 2.4GHz and 2.3GHz respectively. Those details do not establish which phone is faster overall. No matched benchmark or independent performance test is cited, and results can depend on software and configuration.
Cameras
Motorola India specifies a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The 91mobiles comparison lists a 50MP main camera for the Redmi, but the full Redmi camera configuration should be checked on Xiaomi’s specification page for the relevant region. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish image quality.

Durability
Motorola lists IP64 and Gorilla Glass 7i for the Moto; Motorola Spain also describes MIL-STD 810H testing. Xiaomi’s global page lists IP65 and Gorilla Glass 7i for the Redmi. Ratings and materials are not a promise that a phone is damage-proof; check the manufacturer’s regional terms for the conditions they cover.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Moto G57 Power if the lower price in your market is the priority, or you value its listed 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers.
- Choose the Redmi Note 17 5G if you prefer a larger OLED/AMOLED display and the 45W charging listed for the regional model you can buy.
- Compare the exact listings before deciding if battery capacity, charger inclusion, camera configuration, RAM/storage or network-band support will affect your purchase. Confirm these against the manufacturer’s page for your country.
Xiaomi’s global page states “6 years of security updates.” Treat this as Xiaomi’s product claim, and check the regional page and terms for the model sold where you live; it should not be read as a broader support guarantee without that confirmation.
