Colorlib Search Form V23 is a responsive Bootstrap search-bar template for adding a search interface to a website. Its design pairs a search field with an image and magnifying-glass icon, but the template supplies only the frontend: your site still needs a data source and backend search code to return results.

What Colorlib Search Form V23 includes

Colorlib describes V23 as a search form for mobile and desktop. The design includes an image alongside the bar, a magnifying-glass icon, and the placeholder question “What are you looking for?” Example search terms appear beneath the field; they illustrate possible queries rather than limiting what visitors can enter. Colorlib’s V23 listing provides the template details, while its search-form roundup describes the layout.

Does V23 provide working search?

No. V23 provides the visual frontend interface, not a hosted search service or a complete search system. To make the form useful, connect its submission to your site’s searchable data and implement backend code that processes the query and returns results. Adding the form’s markup alone does not make search work.

Is V23 the right variant for your site?

Choose based on the task your visitors need to complete and the design that fits your page. Colorlib links V22 and V24 as nearby variants. Its roundup describes V24 as a category-filter design, which may be relevant if filtering by category is part of your search experience; the available descriptions do not establish that it is a better choice for a particular site.

  • Compare the visual layout and fields with your site’s search task.
  • Check the design at mobile and desktop sizes; Colorlib describes V23 as responsive for both.
  • Plan separately for the data connection and backend logic required to return results.
