For India-market buyers, the vivo T5x is the spec-led choice for a larger battery, higher stated water-and-dust rating and higher-resolution selfie camera; the CMF Phone 2 Pro is the more appealing option on paper for an AMOLED screen and more varied rear-camera hardware. There is no clear universal winner, and the listed prices are not a like-for-like comparison. Match RAM and storage and check the live checkout price before deciding.
CMF Phone 2 Pro vs vivo T5x: key differences
The India-market comparison below uses vivo’s official T5x specifications and secondary comparison listings for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Those secondary listings can be useful for a broad comparison, but they are not a substitute for checking the exact CMF regional model and sale-unit specifications.
| Specification | CMF Phone 2 Pro | vivo T5x 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.77-inch AMOLED, as reported by comparison sources; verify the exact regional specification. Gadgets360 comparison | 6.76-inch LCD, 2344 × 1080 resolution, up to 120 Hz, according to vivo India. |
| Processor | MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, as listed by comparison sources. 91mobiles comparison | MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo, according to vivo India. |

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the vivo T5x for battery capacity and ruggedness claims
The T5x’s official India listing gives it a 7,200 mAh battery and 44W charging, compared with the 5,000 mAh capacity reported for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. That is a substantial paper advantage in capacity, not proof of a specific runtime: usage, settings and conditions affect battery life, and the available sources do not provide an apples-to-apples battery test.

vivo also markets IP68 and IP69+ protection for the T5x, while comparison sources list IP54 for the CMF. Treat these as manufacturer-listed ratings, not guarantees against damage. Water resistance is not permanent, and a rating is not an invitation to expose a phone to water. The T5x’s listed 32 MP front camera is another specification advantage over the CMF’s reported 16 MP, but megapixels alone do not establish selfie quality.
Choose the CMF Phone 2 Pro for screen technology and rear-camera options
Comparison sources describe the CMF Phone 2 Pro as having an AMOLED display, while vivo lists an LCD for the T5x. If display technology is a priority, that distinction may matter more to you than the similar listed screen sizes. The available sources do not establish comparative brightness, color accuracy or other measured display performance.
The reported CMF rear-camera setup adds telephoto and ultrawide modules to its main camera; the T5x’s official listing gives a main camera and a bokeh camera. That makes the CMF setup more varied on paper, particularly for different framing options. It does not prove better photos or video. The available evidence includes no comparative camera testing.

Consider weight, software and performance claims
The listed T5x weight is 219 g, versus 185 g for the CMF Phone 2 Pro, so the CMF is the lighter option in these specifications. Try the phones in hand if comfort matters. The listings also show different software versions: Android 16 with OriginOS 6 for the T5x on vivo India’s page, and Android 15 / Nothing OS for the CMF in comparison listings. Versions can change after updates and can differ across markets; check the software on the unit being sold and confirm the manufacturer’s update policy before buying.
The T5x’s Dimensity 7400-Turbo and the CMF’s reported Dimensity 7300 Pro are different chipset names, but that alone is not enough to declare which phone is faster for your apps or games. The available comparison sources do not provide matched independent benchmark testing.

| Listing snapshot | CMF Phone 2 Pro | vivo T5x 5G |
|---|---|---|
| 91mobiles comparison | ₹18,999; shown out of stock | ₹27,202 |
| vivo India store catalog | not stated (vivo India store catalog) | ₹27,999 for 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage, with ₹28,999 crossed out |
The figures come from the 91mobiles comparison snapshot and the vivo India store catalog. vivo lists T5x configurations of 6 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB. The 91mobiles prices do not identify an equivalent configuration in the retrieved snapshot, so subtracting them would give a misleading impression of the current difference.
How to compare the actual checkout prices
- Choose the RAM and storage configuration you intend to buy. The vivo India page lists three T5x configurations; check which CMF configuration is actually available in your market.
- Compare listings from the same date and market, and confirm the seller, stock status and model variant.
- At checkout, account for any bank offer, exchange discount or other promotion separately. These can change the effective amount and may have eligibility conditions.
Because one comparison snapshot marked the CMF out of stock and the listed prices may concern different variants or sellers, check live listings before treating either amount as a current offer.
Quick Recap
How to make the final choice
- Prioritize the T5x if its larger rated battery, listed charging rate, manufacturer-marketed protection or front-camera resolution best matches your needs.
- Prioritize the CMF if AMOLED display technology, a lighter listed weight or telephoto and ultrawide rear-camera options matter more to you.
- If the phones are similarly priced for equivalent RAM and storage, decide based on screen preference, camera framing options, comfort in hand and the software support you expect.
- Do not use battery capacity, megapixel count, IP rating or chipset name alone as proof of real-world endurance, image quality, durability or speed.
