The CMF Phone 2 Pro stands out for its dedicated 2× optical telephoto camera, AMOLED display and expandable storage; the OnePlus N6 prioritizes a much larger battery and higher-wattage charging. Their published specifications reveal different strengths, but do not establish which phone takes better photos, performs better overall or lasts longer in independent testing. A reliable current price difference also cannot be stated without checking both phones’ live prices for the same market and storage configuration.

Which is better, CMF Phone 2 Pro or OnePlus N6?
Neither specification sheet makes one phone an overall winner. The more useful choice depends on which features matter in daily use.

Its dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera offers 2× optical zoom, alongside a main camera and an ultrawide camera. That gives it a specific hardware advantage for framing subjects at different distances. Camera megapixels and zoom specifications do not prove which phone produces better images; that requires comparable real-world testing.

CMF also lists an AMOLED panel, 8 GB RAM configurations and microSD expansion up to 2 TB. The 6.77-inch screen has adaptive 120 Hz refresh, but its panel type alone does not establish a brightness or display-quality win over the N6.
Choose the OnePlus N6 for stated battery capacity and charging power
The N6 has the larger listed battery: 8000 mAh typical and 7780 mAh rated, compared with 5000 mAh for the CMF. OnePlus also lists 45 W SUPERVOOC charging, versus CMF’s 33 W. Capacity and charging wattage are useful buying factors, but they do not establish comparative screen-on time or charging duration; those depend on test conditions, charger, temperature and use.
Durability specifications also differ: OnePlus lists IP65 and MIL-STD-810H certification, while Nothing lists IP54. These ratings and certifications describe different aspects of protection and should not be treated as a guarantee against damage.

Does the CMF Phone 2 Pro have a telephoto camera?
Yes. Nothing lists a dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera with 2× optical zoom and up to 20× digital zoom, in addition to a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. The OnePlus N6 product information cited here lists a 50 MP main camera but does not establish an equivalent telephoto camera. Optical zoom uses a dedicated camera lens; digital zoom enlarges an image and is not the same capability.

Which phone has better battery life?
The OnePlus N6 has the larger manufacturer-listed capacity, but that alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer in comparable use. OnePlus says the N6 can deliver up to three days under typical use. Its June 30, 2026 launch announcement also reported up to 12.8 hours of gaming, 35 hours on social apps, 24 hours of YouTube playback and 906 hours of standby. These are OnePlus claims, not independent head-to-head results against the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
Nothing lists a 5000 mAh battery and 33 W charging for the CMF. It says a full charge takes approximately 65 minutes with its official charger. Actual charge time varies with charger, temperature and conditions, so that estimate should not be read as a direct comparison with the N6.
For battery longevity, Nothing says the CMF battery capacity will remain above 90% after 1,200 charging cycles. OnePlus says the N6 battery retains over 80% of its original capacity after seven years of regular use under its stated guarantee and 1,600 complete charge cycles. These are manufacturer claims with different conditions, not independently verified or directly comparable longevity tests.
How do software support claims compare?
Nothing states that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will receive updates for six years, counted from when the device first became available on nothing.tech. The cited OnePlus information identifies OxygenOS 16 and makes a 60-month smoothness claim, but does not establish a matching software-update duration.

OnePlus qualifies its “60-Month Smooth Experience” statement as fluency testing of the 6 GB N6 by the OnePlus Test Lab through software, hardware and other optimizations. It is a manufacturer fluency claim, not a promise of five years of operating-system or security updates.

A current price gap cannot be calculated from the available dated price information: it does not establish a current CMF Phone 2 Pro price alongside a current OnePlus N6 price. The OnePlus figures below are its India launch prices announced June 30, 2026, not verified current prices.
| OnePlus N6 India configuration | Launch original price | Effective price with stated eligible bank discount |
|---|---|---|
| 4 GB + 128 GB | ₹22,999 | ₹20,999, including a ₹2,000 eligible bank discount |
| 6 GB + 128 GB | ₹24,999 | ₹22,999, including a ₹2,000 eligible bank discount |
OnePlus also advertised Prime Day special pricing for July 4–6, 2026; that offer period has passed. Its launch announcement said open sale would begin July 4, 2026, through OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, OnePlus Experience Stores and selected offline retailers in India. Those historical details do not confirm current stock or pricing.

Quick Recap
What should you check before choosing?
- Camera: Decide whether a dedicated 2× optical telephoto camera matters more to you than a main-camera specification alone.
- Screen: CMF specifies AMOLED and adaptive 120 Hz; OnePlus specifies a 6.8-inch 120 Hz display. Refresh rate and screen size do not by themselves establish brightness or overall panel quality.
- Battery: Treat the N6’s higher capacity and OnePlus’s runtime figures as manufacturer specifications and claims, not proof of longer real-world endurance.
- Storage: Compare the exact local SKU. CMF lists 128 GB and 256 GB options with microSD expansion; the cited N6 India launch configurations each list 128 GB.
- Price: Compare current local listings for matching configurations, including discount eligibility and stock status.
