The CMF Phone 2 Pro is the stronger fit for an AMOLED display, a dedicated rear telephoto camera, expandable storage and longer stated software support. The Moto g max 5G is listed with a larger battery and a longer result in 91mobiles’ PCMark battery test. On 91mobiles’ India comparison page, accessed October 7, 2026, the CMF was priced at ₹18,999 but marked out of stock; the Moto was listed at ₹27,599 on Amazon. Those are a dated third-party snapshot, not guaranteed live prices.

Nothing’s official CMF Phone 2 Pro page supports the CMF specifications and update commitment. Motorola’s official India confirmation for the Moto g max 5G specifications and support terms was not established in the available sources, so treat those details as the comparison site’s listings.
Which phone has the better display?
The CMF Phone 2 Pro has the more premium display specification: a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel, compared with the Moto’s 6.72-inch LCD. Both are listed with 120 Hz refresh rates, so the refresh-rate figure does not distinguish them. The comparison page lists peak brightness at 3,000 nits for CMF and 1,050 nits for Moto; these are listed peak figures, not a guarantee of sustained brightness in every use.

Rear cameras
CMF’s listed rear setup includes a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2× optical zoom alongside its main and ultrawide cameras. The Moto listing includes a main and ultrawide camera but no telephoto. That gives CMF a dedicated optical-zoom perspective; specifications alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos overall.

Front cameras
The Moto is listed with a 32 MP autofocus front camera, while CMF is listed with a 16 MP front camera. The higher megapixel count does not, by itself, predict selfie quality.
Which has better battery life?
The Moto g max 5G has the larger listed battery, 7,000 mAh versus 5,000 mAh for CMF, and its rated wired charging is 30 W versus CMF’s 33 W. The 91mobiles comparison reports PCMark battery-life results of 18 hours 15 minutes for Moto and 12 hours 38 minutes for CMF. These are results from that publisher’s test, not promises of everyday runtime; actual endurance varies with settings and use.
Which is faster, and how much storage do you get?
The comparison listing gives CMF 8 GB of RAM and the Dimensity 7300 Pro, while Moto has 6 GB and the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. The benchmark results shown on the same 91mobiles page do not point to one consistent winner: Moto scores 807,683 versus CMF’s 688,050 in AnTuTu, while CMF scores 852 versus Moto’s 778 in Wild Life Extreme. These are publisher-reported benchmark results, not a complete measure of day-to-day performance.

CMF offers 128 GB or 256 GB of listed internal storage and support for expansion up to 2 TB. Moto is listed with 128 GB and no expandable storage. If you keep large files locally or want a memory-card option, CMF is the more flexible listing.

Nothing states that the CMF Phone 2 Pro receives three years of Android updates and six years of security updates. Its Europe product page says the six-year period starts when the device first became available on nothing.tech and includes those Android and security updates, as well as corrective and functionality updates. See Nothing’s official CMF Phone 2 Pro page for the manufacturer’s policy.
For Moto, 91mobiles lists Android 16 and two years of OS updates plus three years of security updates. Because that duration was not confirmed against an official Motorola India source, check Motorola’s current policy for the exact model before relying on it.

How do price and availability compare in India?
On the 91mobiles India comparison page accessed October 7, 2026, the CMF Phone 2 Pro appeared at ₹18,999 and was marked “Out of Stock”; the Moto g max 5G appeared at ₹27,599 on Amazon. The displayed difference was ₹8,600, but it does not establish which phone is cheaper to buy today: stock, retailer offers and prices can change. Check the live product pages and availability before making a purchase.

- Choose CMF Phone 2 Pro if you prioritize AMOLED, a dedicated 2× optical telephoto, expandable storage, a lighter and thinner body, or Nothing’s stated update period.
- Consider Moto g max 5G if a larger listed battery, the longer 91mobiles PCMark result, stereo speakers or a higher-resolution listed selfie camera matter more to you.
Neither set of specifications proves a universal winner. In particular, the Moto’s detailed specifications and support period here rely on 91mobiles rather than official Motorola India confirmation.
