The CMF Phone 2 Pro looks like the stronger pick for rear-camera flexibility and its listed chipset, while the Lava Virat Curve 5G has the larger listed battery. Price snapshots favor CMF, but the Lava price varies by source, and its display type and charging speed are disputed. Treat the figures below as India-market listings, not guaranteed current checkout prices.
Price difference: CMF is listed lower, but check stock
Indian comparison listings put the CMF Phone 2 Pro at ₹18,999. Lava’s listed price differs: 91mobiles shows ₹23,999, while Cashify’s comparison, updated 25 September 2026, shows ₹20,999. The 91mobiles page marks both phones out of stock. These are source-specific snapshots, so confirm the variant, availability and final price with the seller before buying.
At those listed figures, CMF is ₹2,000 below the Cashify Lava price or ₹5,000 below the 91mobiles Lava price. The gap is not a stable market-wide saving: stock and the retailer’s live offer can change the comparison. See 91mobiles’ comparison listing and Cashify’s comparison, updated 25 September 2026.
Specs comparison
The following values are listed for the India-market models. The Lava display technology and charging wattage conflict across comparison sources, so they are marked accordingly rather than presented as settled specifications.

Which phone is better for your priorities?
Choose CMF for more rear-camera options
The listed CMF rear setup includes main, ultrawide and telephoto cameras, while 91mobiles lists one 50 MP rear camera for Lava. Separate focal lengths can offer more framing choices, but camera counts and megapixel figures alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.

Choose CMF if the listed chipset matters more
CMF’s Dimensity 7300 Pro is listed at up to 2.5 GHz, compared with up to 2.4 GHz for Lava’s Dimensity 7100. This is a specification comparison, not a benchmark: it does not establish how much faster either phone feels in everyday use.

Consider Lava for its larger stated battery
Lava is listed with a 6,000 mAh battery versus 5,000 mAh for CMF. Capacity favors Lava on paper, but these figures alone do not establish how long either phone lasts between charges. Its charging specification is unsettled across the cited listings, so do not choose it on the assumption that it charges faster.

Compare screens cautiously
Both phones are listed with 120 Hz displays, and CMF’s is listed as 6.77 inches versus Lava’s 6.67 inches. Nothing identifies CMF’s panel as AMOLED. Lava’s panel type is inconsistent between 91mobiles and Cashify, and no official Lava product source is established here; verify it with Lava or the seller if panel technology affects your choice.
Weigh the listed update timelines
91mobiles lists longer OS and security update periods for CMF than for Lava. These are secondary-source figures; the Lava support duration in particular should be confirmed through an official channel before it drives a long-term purchase decision.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which one should you buy?
On the listed specifications and prices, CMF is the more straightforward choice if you value multiple rear-camera focal lengths, the named chipset and a lower listed price. Lava may make more sense if its larger stated battery is your priority and you can verify its current price, panel type, charging rate and software-support terms. Because Lava’s price and key specifications are inconsistent across sources—and 91mobiles reports both phones out of stock—make the decision using the live listing for the exact model and variant you can actually buy.
