The CMF Phone 2 Pro has the larger display: its 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED screen is 0.46 inches larger diagonally than the vivo X300 FE’s 6.31-inch display. Nothing specifies a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz for the CMF. The listed figures make the CMF the more screen-focused option on size, while the vivo is the more compact choice. How do the cameras compare?
Both phones list 50 MP main and telephoto rear cameras, plus an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. Their stated optical telephoto reach differs: 2x on the CMF Phone 2 Pro and 3x on the vivo X300 FE. The vivo’s front camera is listed at 50 MP wide-angle, compared with 16 MP on the CMF. Megapixel counts and zoom specifications describe hardware, not the quality of the resulting photos or videos; those require independent testing.
Optional telephoto extender for vivo
The vivo X300 FE is compatible with the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, a separate accessory rather than an included part of the phone. vivo’s India launch release listed the extender and accessories kit at INR 15,999 at launch. What do their software-support promises mean?
Nothing’s official product page says the CMF Phone 2 Pro receives three years of Android updates and six years of security updates. vivo’s reviewed product page promotes “5 Year Smoothness,” but does not define an equivalent duration for Android or security updates. These are different kinds of statements, so they should not be treated as directly comparable software-update guarantees.
