The Baby Jogger City Elite 2 is an all-terrain stroller built around large rubber tires and all-wheel suspension. Baby Jogger’s European product page lists large “forever-air” rubber tires with all-wheel suspension, a one-hand fold with auto-lock, an adjustable handlebar, and a hand-operated parking brake. The seat has a near-flat recline and adjustable calf support. Its full-coverage UV 50+ canopy includes a magnetic peek-a-boo window and side vents. Official regional pages do not agree on child capacity, weight, or dimensions. Use the figures for your region rather than treating one set as universal.

The linked City Elite 2 manual recommends a total load of 28 kg: up to 22 kg in the seat, 1 kg in the seat-back pocket, and 4.5 kg in the basket. That allocation comes from the manual and should not be combined with a regional product page’s higher child-capacity figure. Walking and jogging guidance is not consistent
Baby Jogger Europe states, “Stroller is not intended for jogging.” The New Zealand product page, by contrast, allows jogging on level ground with precautions: it advises avoiding hills where possible, waiting until babies are at least six months old, and locking the front wheel. Do not apply the New Zealand guidance to every City Elite 2. Follow the manual and official instructions supplied for the stroller sold in your market; if they do not clearly permit running, treat it as a walking stroller.

Newborn use requires the right setup
European product information describes use from birth and a separately sold City Elite 2 carrycot for a lie-flat newborn setup. It also describes a travel system using selected Maxi-Cosi, Cybex, and BeSafe infant seats with adapters sold separately. Australia’s page identifies City GO capsule compatibility with included adapters and certain Maxi-Cosi models with separate adapters. In the United States, Baby Jogger lists a Chicco KeyFit2 adapter, but notes limits to compatible seat models; customer fit reports on that page are anecdotal, not a systematic test. Before relying on a travel-system setup, check the exact infant-seat model and adapter against the current compatibility information for your region. A car seat attached to the stroller chassis is not a cot or bed for sleep, according to the manual.
Fold, storage, and accessories to check
The EU listing gives a folded size of 82 × 68 × 36.7 cm and a stroller weight of 11.7 kg; other regional figures appear in the table above. Measure your car boot, storage space, and doorways against the local listing rather than assuming the EU dimensions apply. The European page lists basket capacity at 4.5 kg, while the manual specifies the same basket limit within its recommended load allocation.

The European page lists the carrycot, child tray, parent console, and glider board as separately sold accessories. Poland lists a rain cover, and Baby Jogger’s accessory page lists a glider board compatible with the City Elite 2. Care and replacement parts
For the seat cover, the European instructions say to remove the metal frame and PE boards, then wash the fabric cold on a gentle or delicate cycle and drip dry it. They recommend replacement seat-cover parts from an authorized Baby Jogger dealer. Clean the wheels with a damp cloth and dry them completely before use.
