If CinePlus is not working, first check whether the problem affects one title, the app as a whole, or your internet connection. Then restart the app and device, test another network, and use the device-specific steps below. The name “CinePlus” is not enough to identify one confirmed app: a CinePlus-branded site describes a streaming app and APK downloads, while a separate Google Play listing surfaced in search. Their relationship is unconfirmed, so use only the app’s verified update or support route for your device.
First, work out what is failing
Buffering, a blank title list, crashes and “no connection” messages can have different causes. A comparison is more useful than assuming the service is down.
- Try another title. If only one title fails, the issue may be with that stream rather than the whole app.
- Try another app or device. If other streaming apps also fail on the same device, investigate the device or network. Google recommends trying a different app or device when playback still does not work (Google Play Help).
- Try another connection. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or test another Wi-Fi network if available. If playback works on one connection but not another, focus on the network.
These checks narrow down where to investigate; they do not prove that CinePlus’s servers are down.

Try these fixes in order

Close CinePlus and reopen it
Exit the app completely, open it again and retry playback. This is a sensible first step for an app that has stopped responding or will not play a video. Google lists closing and reopening the app among playback troubleshooting steps (Google Play Help).

Restart your device
Restart the phone, tablet or TV device, then open CinePlus again. Apple’s app troubleshooting guidance also recommends restarting an iPhone or iPad when an app will not open or respond (Apple Support).

Test the internet connection
Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or the other way around, where possible. You can also restart your router or reconnect to Wi-Fi. The CinePlus troubleshooting page suggests trying another Wi-Fi network and restarting the router or mobile connection; these are that site’s recommendations, not confirmation of a particular outage (CinePlus troubleshooting guide). Google likewise recommends changing internet connections when streaming fails (Google Play Help).

Clear the cache on Android
On Android, open Settings > Apps > [CinePlus] > Storage & cache > Clear cache. The exact labels can vary by Android version and device. Clearing cache removes temporary files; it is different from clearing app data, which may remove stored settings or information. Google documents this cache-clearing path for Google TV and Play Movies playback problems (Google Play Help), and the CinePlus guide recommends clearing cache for empty lists or sudden stops (CinePlus troubleshooting guide).

Check for updates and free storage
Check your device’s app store for an update to the app you installed, and check the device settings for an operating-system update. Also close unused apps and free storage if the device is nearly full. The CinePlus guide recommends updating the app and device software and freeing storage; Apple also advises checking for app and operating-system updates (CinePlus troubleshooting guide; Apple Support).

On a TV device, test wired internet if available
If your TV or streaming device has an Ethernet port, connect it to the router and switch the device’s network connection to wired before retrying. Google includes wired internet as a TV playback troubleshooting step (Google Play Help). This can help isolate a Wi-Fi problem, but it will not fix an app crash or a failed stream.

Reinstall only from a verified source
If the other steps do not help, reinstalling may be an option—but first confirm which CinePlus app you have and where it came from. The available information does not establish that the APK site and the Google Play listing refer to the same app, or verify a correct current build. Avoid downloading an APK from an unverified mirror. On Apple devices, deleting an app may remove data stored in it, so check what could be lost before reinstalling (Apple Support).

If CinePlus still fails
If other apps work, multiple CinePlus titles fail, and changing networks makes no difference, wait and retry later. The available sources do not confirm a current CinePlus outage or establish a verified support channel. Use support details only if you can verify that they belong to the specific app you installed; a single failed title or device is not enough to establish a service-wide problem.
For clarity, the CinePlus troubleshooting page is hosted on cineplus.app (CinePlus troubleshooting guide). A Google Play listing with the CinePlus name also surfaced (Google Play listing), but the sources do not establish whether the two refer to the same app. The listing’s current availability, version and developer contact are therefore not confirmed here.
