If your Chrome tabs vanished, first press Ctrl+Shift+T on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+Shift+T on Mac. Repeat the shortcut to try reopening recently closed tabs, windows, or a tab group. If that does not bring back the session, check Chrome’s History, make sure you are in the right profile and window, then use full browsing history to reopen pages individually.
Try reopening the most recently closed tabs
With Chrome active, press Ctrl+Shift+T on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+Shift+T on Mac. Press the shortcut again if the first attempt does not restore everything; community guidance says it can reopen previously closed tabs, windows, or a group. This is an attempt, not a guaranteed recovery.
Look for the closed window or group in History
Open Chrome’s menu and inspect History for an entry representing a recently closed multi-tab window or group. If Chrome lists the session, select it to try to restore it. This menu route and its labels may vary by Chrome version and platform; the steps are based on guidance from contributors in the Chrome Community, not a guarantee from Google Help.

Check whether the tabs are in another profile or window
Before treating the tabs as gone, confirm that Chrome is using the profile where you opened them. Also check for another Chrome window, including one that may be minimized. Tabs can seem to disappear when you are looking at a different profile or window.

Use browsing History to reopen individual pages
If Chrome no longer offers the closed session, search your browsing History for the sites you need and open them again. This can recover individual page URLs, but it may not restore the original tab group, window, or arrangement.
Set Chrome to reopen your pages on the next launch
To make future launches reopen the pages that were open when you quit Chrome, open Settings, choose On startup, and select Continue where you left off. Google Chrome Help says this setting can tell Chrome to “re-open the same pages you were looking at when you quit.” It is a startup preference, not a repair for a session that is already missing. What to expect if Chrome no longer lists the session
Recovery depends on whether Chrome still exposes the recently closed session and whether you are in the profile where the tabs were open. If the session is not available, the sources do not establish a way to guarantee restoration of the full window or tab group. History may still help you find and reopen pages, but it does not promise to reconstruct the original session.

For pages you cannot afford to lose, save them in a bookmarks folder. This is a prevention measure; bookmarks do not reconstruct an unsaved session after it is gone.
