Can my PC run DOOM Eternal?
Compare your computer with Bethesda’s target for the resolution, frame rate, quality preset, and rendering mode you intend to use. The minimum specification is not a guarantee for every setting: Bethesda associates it with 1080p at 60 FPS on Low settings. Recommended and Ultra-Nightmare targets require stronger hardware.

What the requirements mean for your Windows PC
-
Check your exact graphics card model and VRAM, not just whether your PC has a dedicated GPU. The listed targets vary by resolution, settings, and whether ray tracing is enabled.

Match RAM and free storage to the mode you plan to use. Bethesda’s standard page gives a 50 GB figure, while its ray-tracing page gives 80 GB; check the current storefront before installing.
-
Use the updated Bethesda support page if older physical packaging lists different specifications. Bethesda says it removed Windows 8.1 from the supported OS list, updated the minimum target, added GPUs, and reduced recommended RAM from 16 GB to 8 GB.
-
The game’s listed minimum includes 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 10, but that does not establish that the current Steam client can be installed on Windows 7. Steam’s search listing says its client supports Windows 10 and later starting January 1, 2024; verify Steam’s current client requirements before relying on an older system.
