The best Suno alternative depends on what you need to make and keep: try Mureka for full vocal songs and frequent MP3 downloads, ElevenLabs Music for multilingual vocals, Stable Audio for instrumentals and sound effects, AIVA for score and MIDI workflows, or Soundraw for background music. Google Flow Music is another option for short drafts. These services are not interchangeable, and plan limits, exports, and usage rights can matter as much as the sound.

Stable Audio 3.0 is not a direct substitute if you need sung lyrics: Stability AI says its models do not generate vocals or lyrics. It is instead a specialist option for instrumental music and sound effects, particularly when you want a DAW-oriented workflow. Stability AI lists hosted plans starting at $12/month and says three of its four model variants can be self-hosted.
For commercial use, read the current Community License and check how it applies to your organization and project. Stability AI describes output ownership and an enterprise threshold, but those statements are not a blanket guarantee that every use is permitted or that a particular output is free of third-party claims. AIVA: for composition, scores, and MIDI

Before subscribing, match the service to the file and use you actually need. A plan that can generate a promising draft may still be unsuitable if it does not let you export the format, retain enough downloads, or distribute the track where you want.

- For frequent files: Check download caps and whether they apply to MP3, WAV, stems, MIDI, or session files. Mureka’s reported unlimited MP3 allowance applies to Pro; its broader export set is described for Premier.
- For ongoing generation: Find out whether the plan uses a shared credits pool, as reported for ElevenLabs Music, and how much generation your expected workflow consumes.
- For commercial projects: Read the license attached to the precise product and plan. A service’s terms may distinguish monetization, streaming release, ownership language, and other commercial uses.
- For distribution: Confirm that the exact tier permits the destination you have in mind. The cited comparison identifies ElevenLabs Creator for Spotify and Apple Music release and says Soundraw streaming distribution requires an Artist plan.
- For uncertain terms: Do not treat a watermark, output-ownership statement, or “perpetual” license as a substitute for reading the applicable terms. Google Flow Music’s commercial terms are not explicit in the cited pricing page, while Stability AI and the other services have their own plan-specific conditions.
These cautions matter in a changing industry. In February 2026, the Associated Press quoted Suno CEO and co-founder Mikey Shulman saying the company believed working with the music industry rather than against it was the only way forward. That is a statement of company posture, not evidence that licensing or copyright questions are settled. Warner Music Group’s 2025 partnership announcement said artists and songwriters would have full control over whether and how their names, images, likenesses, voices, and compositions were used in new AI-generated music; it describes a commitment, not proof of every current product term. Why Udio is not among these export-focused picks
The cited comparison reports that Udio downloads have been disabled since October 29, 2025. That makes it a poor fit for this shortlist if you need to save exportable audio files. Check current service terms directly if your needs do not depend on downloads, since the date-specific report is not a substitute for a live status check.
