Choose Hostinger Reach if you want AI-assisted campaign creation in a Hostinger-centered workflow and your email needs fit its subscriber and monthly-send limits. Choose Mailchimp if you need a broad integration catalog or more complex, plan-dependent customer journeys. Neither is a universal winner: compare the exact contact tier, sending volume, integrations, automation requirements, and regional checkout price before moving your list.
How the two tools approach email marketing
Hostinger Reach focuses on creating and managing email campaigns. Hostinger says you can describe a campaign and use AI to generate copy and layout, apply brand styling, suggest campaign ideas, and help optimize sending. Its feature list also includes campaign engagement reporting, audience targeting, automations with steps and delays, subscribe forms, contact imports, API contact sync, unsubscribe handling, and compliance controls. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independent performance findings. Hostinger Reach features
Mailchimp is a broader marketing platform. Its documented capabilities include customer journey automation, prebuilt automations, templates, landing pages, digital ads, reports and analytics, recommendations, A/B testing, and a mobile app. Available features depend on the plan. Compare audience limits and monthly sending
Reach publishes subscriber and monthly email caps for its plans. Its Free plan is available for one year and allows 100 unique subscribers and 200 emails per month. Paid tiers list progressively higher limits:
#1 Best Overall
| Reach plan limit | Unique subscribers | Emails per month |
|---|---|---|
| Free, for one year | 100 | 200 |
| Paid tier | 500 | 3,500 |
| Paid tier | 1,000 | 7,000 |
| Paid tier | 2,500 | 17,500 |
| Paid tier | 5,000 | 35,000 |
| Paid tier | 10,000 | 70,000 |

Reach’s help documentation also describes plan-level AI credit allowances. Prices and offers vary by market, so check the current checkout for your country rather than assuming a global price. Hostinger Reach subscription limits and plans
Mailchimp’s send limits scale with contact tier, and its prices depend on contact count and billing terms. Check its current plan comparison for the limits and features attached to your tier. A contact listed in more than one audience may count more than once for billing, according to Mailchimp’s pricing documentation. Mailchimp also says its prices, terms, and services can change. Check integrations before choosing
This is a key difference. Reach supports Hostinger ecosystem workflows and contact-management methods, but Hostinger’s FAQ says third-party integrations are not currently supported. Its product page labels Hostinger eCommerce and WooCommerce store workflows as “Coming soon”; do not assume those connections are available until the live product page confirms their status. Mailchimp documents more than 300 integrations. Depending on the service, an integration can pass account or customer information between Mailchimp and another tool—for example, an online store or social account—to help build audiences and target campaigns. Check the individual integration listing for its specific capabilities rather than assuming every connection syncs the same data. Mailchimp integrations

Match automation depth to your workflow
For a straightforward welcome or follow-up sequence, Reach’s documented automations with steps and delays may cover the workflow. The available documentation does not establish a comparable maximum step count, so confirm the limits for the plan you would use.
Mailchimp’s automation limits vary by plan. Its current comparison lists flows of up to four steps on Essentials, while Standard and Premium allow up to 200 steps and multiple branching points. Confirm the live comparison before purchasing because plan details can change. Mailchimp automation plan limits
Compare the real cost, not just the headline price
There is no reliable apples-to-apples price comparison without matching region, contact count, monthly send volume, and billing period. Reach’s prices vary by market and offer; Mailchimp’s vary by contact tier and billing terms. Compare the live checkout totals for the plans that actually meet your requirements, and avoid weighing a temporary offer against a different tier or billing period.

Before transferring an email program, check that you can export and import the contacts and preserve suppression and opt-out information. Confirm that your required integrations and automation logic will still work, and account for contacts that may be duplicated across audiences. Test the import and a representative campaign workflow before relying on the new setup for a full send.
Quick Recap
Best Value
Which service fits your needs?
- Consider Reach if AI-assisted copy and layout, brand styling, and a Hostinger-centered workflow suit your process, and the published audience and monthly-send tiers cover your needs.
- Consider Mailchimp if you rely on a particular third-party service, need a broad integration catalog, or want to evaluate more complex branching journeys against its plan-specific limits.
- Compare both closely if cost or growth is decisive: match the same contact count, sending cadence, billing period, required integrations, and automation complexity, then verify current regional prices and limits.
