If you want to play phone audio on a Sangean radio, choose based on where and how you listen: the WFT-4 is the most versatile tabletop option, the DPR-42BT is portable, the DPR-26BT adds stereo speakers and wired connections, and the WR-11BT+ is a simple AM/FM cabinet radio. The manufacturer specifications document their features, but they do not establish which sounds best; no comparative listening test or independent sound measurement is available here.
Which Sangean Bluetooth radio suits your needs?
These are radios with Bluetooth audio input, not standalone Bluetooth adapters. The WFT-4 is also a Bluetooth transmitter, so it can send audio to compatible headphones or speakers. The other three models are better matched to portable or straightforward radio listening.

WFT-4: most flexible for a tabletop setup
The WFT-4 combines DAB+, FM, and internet radio with Bluetooth playback from a phone or other source. Its two-way Bluetooth feature is the key distinction: besides receiving audio, it can transmit audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. The manufacturer lists a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver and Bluetooth 5.2 transmitter, a 4-inch color TFT display, optical and coaxial SPDIF outputs, and support for SBC/AAC decoding on Bluetooth reception and SBC/APTX/APTX-Adaptive on transmission. DPR-42BT: portable radio with listening controls

Unlike the DPR models, it is not listed with DAB+. Its appeal here is a simpler AM/FM and Bluetooth feature set rather than a broad digital-radio selection.
How to interpret the sound specifications
Speaker output, speaker size, Bluetooth profiles, and connection options help describe the products, but they cannot by themselves establish which radio sounds better. The listed output ratings—1.2 W for the DPR-42BT, 1 W × 2 for the DPR-26BT, and 6.5 W for the WR-11BT+—are manufacturer specifications. They are not directly comparable proof of perceived sound quality, and the available information does not include controlled listening results or independent measurements. The WFT-4 specifications cited here do not state a comparable speaker-output figure.

Bluetooth codec and version details describe supported wireless capabilities, not a guarantee of a particular listening experience. Room acoustics, source material, volume, and the connected device also affect what you hear. For a sound-quality decision, use the features to narrow the choice, then listen to the exact model if possible.
Choose by setup, not by a wattage ranking
- For a tabletop receiver with radio variety and Bluetooth headphone output: choose the WFT-4 for its DAB+, FM, internet radio, and Bluetooth transmit capability.
- For portable DAB+/FM listening with playback controls: consider the DPR-42BT, which lists battery operation, presets, EQ, treble/bass control, and loudness.
- For compact stereo radio with AUX and line-out: consider the DPR-26BT.
- For a simpler AM/FM cabinet radio with Bluetooth and AUX: consider the WR-11BT+.
