If you want a 27-inch-class 1440p OLED monitor, start with the exact model variant and its refresh rate: the options here run from 240 Hz to 360 Hz, and one MSI model family includes both a 360 Hz version and a separate 240 Hz version. Then weigh panel type, confirmed screen finish, warranty terms, connectivity, and your budget. Manufacturer pages verify specifications, but the available evidence does not establish a hands-on comparative test or current prices, so this is a shortlist and decision guide—not a universal performance ranking.

At a glance: seven 1440p OLED options

Every model below is listed as a 2560 × 1440 OLED monitor. “Not stated” means the cited source in this guide does not establish the detail; it does not mean the monitor lacks that feature. Prices and stock are not established here, and may vary by region and change over time.

Which refresh rate fits your games and hardware?

Refresh rate is a useful shortlist filter, not a guarantee that a game will run at that frame rate. These models offer 240, 280, or 360 Hz, but the practical value of the higher figures depends on your PC, the games you play, and your willingness to spend for a higher-refresh display.

Consider 360 Hz for competitive play

The MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED is the 360 Hz option in this list. It is a reasonable candidate if competitive games and very high refresh are priorities and your system can deliver suitably high frame rates. Its E2 sibling is a separate 240 Hz model, not the same 360 Hz configuration: compare the exact label and product page before buying.

Consider 280 Hz as an in-between option

The Alienware AW2725D is listed at 280 Hz. It may suit a buyer who wants a rate above 240 Hz without choosing the highest figure in this group. That is a specification-based distinction, not evidence that it outperforms the other monitors in real gameplay.

Choose among 240 Hz models by other priorities

The AW2726DM, MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2, LG 27GS95QE-B, and ASUS XG27AQDMG are listed at 240 Hz. If that rate suits your games and hardware, compare the exact model’s panel, finish, connectivity, warranty, and current local price rather than assuming that a higher number alone makes a better purchase.

WOLED, QD-OLED, and screen finish are separate comparisons

WOLED and QD-OLED are distinct OLED panel implementations. The verified model details identify QD-OLED for the two Dell monitors and both MSI variants, and WOLED for the ASUS XG27AQDMG. The cited information identifies the ASUS screen as glossy; it does not establish the finish for the other candidates. Do not infer a monitor’s surface finish from its panel family alone.

For a screen whose finish matters to your room or setup, verify the exact model specification before purchase. The cited product information does not provide a like-for-like picture-quality test, so it cannot support a claim that one panel type or finish is universally better.

Burn-in features and warranty coverage are not the same thing

OLED care features are intended to reduce image-retention or burn-in risk; they do not establish that a display is immune. ASUS lists OLED Care functions for the XG27AQDMG, and Samsung describes OLED Safeguard+ as helping prevent image retention and burn-in. Those feature descriptions are not warranty promises.

MSI explicitly says the MAG 271QPX family’s three-year OLED warranty includes burn-in coverage. Confirm the terms that apply where you live and to the exact model you plan to buy. For the other monitors in this comparison, the cited information does not establish burn-in warranty coverage; check the regional warranty document rather than assuming coverage from a prevention feature or another model’s policy.

Check ports and regional details before ordering

Connectivity can decide whether a monitor fits a particular PC or console setup, but the available product details do not provide a complete, comparable port list for all seven models. Dell’s AW2725D page includes port details; for the other candidates, consult the exact current model page and verify the connections you need. Do not treat a family overview as a substitute for the individual model’s specification sheet.

How to make a shortlist

  1. Set a refresh-rate target. Decide whether 240 Hz is enough for your games and hardware, or whether you specifically want the 280 Hz AW2725D or 360 Hz MAG 271QPX.
  2. Choose the panel and finish you can verify. Compare the stated WOLED and QD-OLED models, and confirm the finish for the exact monitor rather than guessing from its panel type.
  3. Check long-term coverage. Read the warranty terms for your country and exact model. MSI states three-year burn-in coverage for the cited MAG variants; other coverage is not established by the cited details.
  4. Verify fit and price at checkout. Confirm the exact model code, ports, regional specifications, current stock, and final price with the manufacturer or seller before ordering.
