The reported China Construction Bank after-hours price of EUR 1.11 and gain of 0.91% are not verified by the available timestamped quote. AD HOC NEWS reported a Lang & Schwarz indication of EUR 1.10 at 15:04 CEST on October 9, 2026, unchanged against the prior EUR 1.10 close. It listed EUR 1.11 as the ask—not as a confirmed last trade.
What the dated quote actually shows
The closest dated report to the headline is AD HOC NEWS’s October 9, 2026 Lang & Schwarz quote report. At 15:04 CEST, it put the EUR indication at EUR 1.10, unchanged from the prior close of EUR 1.10. The same report showed a EUR 1.10 bid and EUR 1.11 ask. These are secondary quote reports, not an official exchange close or confirmation of an after-hours trade. Read the October 9 report.
A separate AD HOC NEWS report put the EUR indication at EUR 1.10 at 08:32 CEST that day, also unchanged against the prior close, with a EUR 1.10 bid and EUR 1.11 ask. On October 6, the outlet reported EUR 1.09 after-hours at 20:49 CEST, unchanged against that session’s prior close, with a EUR 1.08 bid and EUR 1.10 ask. Those are snapshots from different dates and times, not a continuous price history or a current quote. October 9 pre-market report; October 6 after-hours report.

Why EUR 1.11 does not establish a 0.91% gain
Ask is not the same as last price
The ask is a seller’s quoted price; the bid is a buyer’s quoted price. A last price refers to a reported completed trade. Since the October 9 report identifies EUR 1.11 as the ask, it does not show that a trade occurred at EUR 1.11.

The percentage needs a matching reference
To verify a 0.91% move, the quote must identify the same instrument and market, the price field being compared, and the reference close. The October 9 daytime report says the EUR indication was unchanged against the previous Lang & Schwarz close. It does not support calculating a 0.91% gain from the ask or from another session’s close.
China Construction Bank has separate share listings
China Construction Bank Corporation’s official investor-relations materials identify its Hong Kong H-shares, and its first-quarter 2026 report lists Hong Kong stock code 00939. Search-returned reporting identifies the Shanghai A-share code as 601939. A euro-denominated Lang & Schwarz display should not be treated as interchangeable with either exchange quote: the available reports do not establish which share line the EUR display maps to or how that price is converted. AD HOC NEWS separately reported HKD 9.73 for the Hong Kong-listed share at 16:08 HKT on October 9, 2026. That is a different currency and market observation from the EUR indication; it does not confirm the EUR after-hours price. October 9 quote report.

How to verify an updated quote
Because after-hours indications can change quickly, an earlier report cannot establish the price now. Before treating a quote as current, check that the source identifies:
Rank #3
- The exact instrument or share line, including its exchange code or venue.
- The venue or quote provider and whether the figure is a last trade, close, bid, or ask.
- The timestamp and time zone, along with the displayed currency.
- The comparison close used to calculate any percentage change.
If any of those details are missing, describe the figure as an indication from that provider at that time, rather than as a verified after-hours last trade or gain. CCB’s official announcement archive provides issuer filings, but filings do not independently verify the EUR quote.

“China Construction Bank stock after-hours at EUR 1.11” and “plus 0.91 percent” should be treated as unverified unless a timestamped source identifies EUR 1.11 as the relevant traded price and shows the reference close behind the percentage. The dated October 9 report supports a EUR 1.10 indication, unchanged versus the prior close, and a EUR 1.11 ask—not the headline’s claimed after-hours move.
