The Childcare Twin Nix is a side-by-side double stroller that CHOICE marks as discontinued. CHOICE’s public review page lists specifications but keeps its rating and detailed test results for members, so the available evidence does not support a performance verdict or recommendation. The listed specifications also conflict on stroller weight and dimensions, making source attribution important.
What does the CHOICE review establish?
CHOICE identifies the Twin Nix as a six-wheel, side-by-side stroller with one seat suitable for a newborn and a maximum recommended weight of 17 kg per child. It lists two storage baskets, each rated for 5 kg, and marks the model discontinued. That status does not establish whether used units or remaining stock are available in any particular market.
The public page does not disclose CHOICE’s expert rating, performance score, or safety- and durability-test results. It names manoeuvrability and folding among its test categories, but the scores are not publicly visible. Those hidden results cannot be inferred from the specifications.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
What features does the product description claim?
CNP Brands’ historical product description presents the Twin Nix as a stroller for families with twins. It describes an umbrella-style fold, steel frame, forward-facing seats with four recline positions, five-point harnesses, adjustable leg extensions, a fully folding hood, and an included sunvisor. It also lists lockable swivel front wheels, independent brakes, six-wheel suspension, two rear storage pockets, and two shopping baskets with a 5 kg limit each.
These are manufacturer-description details, not independently verified test findings. The product material says the stroller is not baby-capsule compatible; its forward-facing-only seats should not be mistaken for capsule compatibility.

Is the Childcare Twin Nix a good choice now?
The available public information is not enough to judge how well the Twin Nix performs, handles, folds, or holds up: CHOICE’s relevant test results are member-only, and the manufacturer’s feature list is not a substitute for those results. Its discontinued status also means a buyer would need to verify the condition and availability of any specific unit rather than assume it is sold new.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf considering a used or remaining-stock stroller, check the exact unit’s condition, included parts, fold and brakes in person, and whether the seat arrangement suits the children. Use the stated 17 kg per child limit and 5 kg per basket limit as reported specifications, not as evidence of condition or test performance.

What about accessories?
The Twin Nix instruction manual states: “There are no accessories recommended for use with this Childcare Twin Nix Stroller.” The available model-specific material therefore does not establish compatibility for any particular accessory; do not assume a generic accessory is suitable.
