Its stated body width is 522 mm, even though Electrolux classifies it as a nominal 600 mm model. That distinction—and the required cooktop clearance—matters when checking whether it will fit. The specifications and rating below are manufacturer-published, not independent test results.
What the ERI512SA is—and how wide it is
Electrolux Australia describes the ERI512SA as a 52 cm stainless-steel integrated-under-cupboard rangehood. The product specification gives its physical dimensions as 522 mm wide × 284 mm deep × 305 mm high. It separately labels the nominal width as 600 mm; that is a nominal cabinet category, not the measured width of the appliance body. Check the actual available space and installation instructions rather than assuming the model occupies exactly 600 mm.

Electrolux specifies maximum airflow of 650 m³/h and noise levels from 52 dB on low to 70 dB on high. These are manufacturer figures; no independent measurement is established here. The listed maximum is not a guarantee that a particular installation will deliver that airflow: duct layout and installation conditions are relevant, so check the installation documentation for your kitchen.

Electrolux’s product page says, “Remove odours and vapours quickly and efficiently with a high airflow rate of 650m3/h”. This is product-page copy, not an independently verified performance finding. The page also lists a centrifugal motor, two fans, electronic push-button controls, three fan speeds plus boost, and two LED lights rated at 4 W each.
Will it suit your cupboard and cooktop?
Compare the appliance’s physical dimensions with the available space, and confirm the required clearance above your cooktop. Electrolux lists a minimum distance of 650 mm for gas and 600 mm for electric cooking surfaces. These are the manufacturer’s stated minimums; confirm the installation manual and applicable local requirements for the specific cooktop and kitchen before fitting.

The listed duct configuration has a top outlet and a 150 mm duct diameter. The product page also lists recirculation as an option, but the surfaced specifications do not describe the recirculation kit’s contents. Ask the seller or Electrolux to confirm which kit is needed, whether it is included, and what installation arrangement is compatible. Do not assume ducting or a recirculation kit comes with the hood.

Filters, cleaning and replacement parts
The ERI512SA uses two multilayer aluminum micromesh filters. Electrolux describes them as dishwasher-safe. The product information does not identify a replacement-filter part number, so confirm compatibility using the appliance’s product number with Electrolux parts support or the seller before ordering. Electrolux’s support page directs customers to spare parts and accessories as well as repair support.
