There is no defensible single winner for the cheapest Soulmask server that is still good. The lowest headline price found is Nitrado’s $4.99 14-slot listing for three days, which is not comparable with a monthly subscription. For recurring service, the useful starting points are a Japan-based BESTNET-GSERVER plan at ¥1,980 per month before tax, Fly-Serv at £9.95 per month including VAT, and Shockbyte at $14.99 per month. Those are provider-published listings, not results from an independent performance test. Compare the billing term, tax, player target, RAM, storage, location and backup policy before choosing.
What “cheapest but still good” means for a Soulmask server
A low number on a pricing page does not tell you what a group will actually pay or whether the server will suit its world. Soulmask plans in the current listings use different currencies, tax treatments, billing periods, slot counts and hardware allocations. “Good” therefore means that a plan is adequate for your intended player count and world, is located sensibly for the players, has a recovery option, and can be cancelled or upgraded without an unpleasant surprise.

THE SOUL GAME | $2.99 | Buy on Amazon |
The figures below are a dated snapshot of provider listings available on October 13, 2026. Prices and availability can change at checkout. Currency conversion is deliberately omitted: exchange rates, card fees and local taxes would otherwise create a false ranking.
Current Soulmask hosting offers compared
| Provider or listing | Displayed entry price | Capacity and resources shown | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| BESTNET-GSERVER | ¥1,980/month before tax; ¥2,178 including the stated 10% tax | Small plan suggests 20 players, 12 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe and three backup generations | Japan-based service; prices are from an August 2026 announcement. Confirm region, checkout total and current stock. |
| Fly-Serv | £9.95/month including VAT | 12 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe, 3 vCores; pricing table states unlimited slots | Check the current checkout price, actual slot policy, region and whether the listed resources remain attached to the selected mode. |
| Shockbyte | $14.99/month for Conquest | Conquest: 12 players and 8 GB RAM. The next listed tier is $19.99/month for 25 players and 10 GB; Explorer is $30/month for 50-plus players and 12 GB or more. | Slot and memory profiles differ sharply between tiers. Auto-updates, backups, DDoS protection and support are advertised features; verify the exact plan. |
| Nitrado | $4.99 for 3 days; $19.49 for 30 days | 14 slots on both displayed terms; a 20-slot, 30-day option is $24.99 | The three-day price is a short-term purchase, not a monthly rate. Select a location and check the latency shown for that location. |
| NitroServ (comparison listing) | €14.99/month for a 10-slot plan | 10 slots | This figure is summarized by HostMyGame rather than taken from the provider’s own pricing page. Confirm current terms directly. |
| Minestrator MyBox 16 (comparison listing) | €27.99/month | The comparison recommends it for up to 40 players | HostMyGame’s August 27, 2026 article is the cited source; verify the provider’s current resources, slots and location before paying. |
Because these prices are in yen, pounds, dollars and euros, none can be called the cheapest in a universal sense without a defined exchange-rate date and tax assumption. A plan that looks less expensive in a foreign currency can cost more on your card after conversion and local charges.
#1 Best Overall
How to compare the real monthly cost
Put the billing period first
Nitrado’s $4.99 offer covers three days, while its displayed 14-slot monthly term is $19.49. Do not multiply the three-day figure into a monthly estimate unless the provider clearly states the renewal price and cadence. A short prepaid test can be useful for a weekend, but it does not establish a recurring monthly bargain.
For every candidate, record the price for the same period, whether it renews automatically, and whether a setup fee or minimum term applies. BESTNET-GSERVER’s August 31, 2026 announcement explicitly says, in translation, that there is “no setup fee, minimum usage period, or cancellation fee.” Treat that as the provider’s published policy and check that the checkout terms still match it.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Include tax and payment costs
BESTNET-GSERVER publishes both ¥1,980 before tax and ¥2,178 with its stated 10 percent tax. Fly-Serv’s £9.95 figure includes VAT. The other listings display dollars or euros without the same tax presentation, so the number on the comparison page may not be the final amount for your country. Check the final invoice, billing currency, renewal date and any payment-provider surcharge.
Do not compare slots without memory
The entry tiers do not describe the same machine. Shockbyte’s $14.99 Conquest plan lists 12 players and 8 GB RAM, whereas BESTNET-GSERVER and Fly-Serv list 12 GB. Nitrado shows 14 slots at both its three-day and 30-day terms. A slot is an administrative limit, not an independently validated guarantee that every world will remain smooth at that population. Mods, structures, automation, save size and simultaneous activity can change the load.
One comparison publisher says Soulmask server processes typically need 12 GB or more of RAM, but no independently validated minimum was established. Use that statement as a planning warning rather than a universal requirement: a lightly populated world may behave differently from a busy, heavily developed one.
Provider-by-provider assessment
BESTNET-GSERVER: lowest clearly stated recurring figure, with a Japan focus
The small plan is listed at ¥1,980 per month before tax, or ¥2,178 after the announcement’s 10 percent tax, and suggests 20 players with 12 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe storage and three backup generations. The same August 2026 announcement says there is no setup fee, minimum usage period or cancellation fee. That combination makes it a strong value candidate for a group that can obtain good latency to Japan and is comfortable paying in yen.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe listing does not establish measured uptime, tick stability, support response or performance under a particular Soulmask world. Confirm the server location, network route from each player, restore procedure for those backup generations and the price shown at checkout.
Fly-Serv: 12 GB and an “unlimited slots” table entry
Fly-Serv displays £9.95 per month including VAT, with 12 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe and three vCores. Its table says unlimited slots, and the provider advertises automatic world backups and configurable modes. “Unlimited” should not be read as unlimited practical performance: the hardware still has finite CPU, memory and storage, and the provider’s acceptable-use or software limits may define how many players are sensible.
Before ordering, select the exact mode and region, verify that VAT remains included for your billing address, and ask how a backup is restored and downloaded. The published listing does not supply an independent latency or reliability measurement.
Shockbyte: clear tiers, but a lower-memory entry plan
Shockbyte’s Conquest entry tier is $14.99 per month for 12 players and 8 GB RAM. The next listed tier is $19.99 for 25 players and 10 GB, while Explorer is $30 for 50 or more players and at least 12 GB. The progression is easy to understand, but the first tier has less memory than the 12 GB plans shown by several alternatives.

Auto-updates, backups, DDoS protection and support are advertised by the provider. Those are useful checklist items, not independently tested service levels. Ask which backup generations are retained, whether backups run while the server is online, how restores affect world progress and what upgrade path preserves the files and configuration.
Nitrado: inexpensive short-term access and selectable locations
Nitrado’s displayed 14-slot offer costs $4.99 for three days or $19.49 for 30 days. A 20-slot 30-day listing is $24.99. The short term is the lowest headline amount in the listings, making it relevant for a brief event or a cautious trial, but it should not be ranked as a cheaper monthly subscription.
Automated backups are listed, and locations can be selected. The service displays different latency figures by location, so choose the region closest to the group and test from the players’ actual networks rather than relying on a generic geographic label. Confirm the renewal price and whether the selected location, slot count and backup settings stay unchanged when the term renews.
NitroServ and Minestrator: comparison-source figures that need extra checking
HostMyGame’s August 27, 2026 comparison lists a NitroServ 10-slot plan at €14.99 per month and a Minestrator MyBox 16 plan at €27.99 per month, with the latter described as suitable for up to 40 players. These are useful leads, but they are not provider-originated price pages in the supplied evidence. Treat every capacity, resource and renewal detail as unconfirmed until the provider’s own checkout and documentation agree.
Choose by player group and geography
Small or occasional groups
For a short gathering, Nitrado’s three-day term avoids paying for a full month, provided the renewal setting and expiry behavior are understood. For ongoing play, compare the full-month price instead; a short term cannot demonstrate that the server is economical over several months.
Around 20 regular players
BESTNET-GSERVER’s small plan explicitly suggests 20 players and lists 12 GB RAM, while Fly-Serv lists 12 GB with an unlimited-slots table entry. Shockbyte’s $14.99 Conquest plan is listed for 12 players, so a group approaching 20 should examine its next tier rather than assume the entry tier will fit. None of these slot labels is a performance guarantee.
Larger communities
Shockbyte is the only listing here that publishes a stepped 25-player tier and a 50-plus-player tier with corresponding memory increases. Minestrator’s comparison entry is described as suitable for up to 40 players, but that claim needs direct confirmation. For any large world, prioritize actual CPU allocation, memory headroom, backup restoration and regional latency over the lowest advertised slot price.

Players spread across countries
List where most players live, then test latency to the proposed region at busy times. A server that is cheap in its local currency can be a poor choice if half the group routes across an ocean. Nitrado’s location selector and displayed latency are explicit decision aids; other providers should be asked for the data-center city and network test method.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Backups, upgrades and cancellation: the questions that prevent an expensive mistake
- Backups: How many generations are retained, how often are they created, and can you restore a specific generation without opening a support ticket?
- World ownership: Can you download the save, configuration and logs if you cancel or migrate?
- Upgrades: Can RAM, CPU or slots be increased without changing the address or wiping the world?
- Renewal: Is the displayed introductory or short-term price also the renewal price?
- Cancellation: Is cancellation immediate, end-of-term or subject to a notice period? Is any unused time refunded?
- Tax and currency: What total appears after entering your billing country, and in which currency will recurring charges post?
BESTNET-GSERVER publicly states no setup fee, minimum term or cancellation fee and lists three backup generations on the small plan. Shockbyte, Nitrado and Fly-Serv advertise backup features, but the exact retention and restore mechanics still belong in your pre-purchase check.
A practical buying procedure
- Write the requirement: number of regular players, peak players, likely mods, preferred region and whether the server is needed for days or months.
- Filter by term: separate three-day, 30-day and monthly-renewing offers before looking at the headline number.
- Record resources: note RAM, vCores or CPU wording, storage type and slot limit in the same table. Mark any missing value as “not stated” rather than guessing.
- Calculate the checkout total: include VAT or sales tax, currency conversion and any setup charge. Save a screenshot or invoice showing the renewal amount.
- Test the route: have players check latency to the selected region from their normal connections. Reject a location that is consistently unstable even if its price is lowest.
- Verify recovery: identify the backup schedule, create a test backup if permitted, and confirm how a restore affects the live world.
- Start with the smallest suitable tier: choose enough memory for the stated player target, but avoid paying for a high slot count that your group will not use. Monitor memory, CPU and save behavior, then upgrade if the provider supports a non-destructive change.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Calling a three-day price a monthly bargain
A $4.99 three-day purchase and a $19.49 30-day purchase are different products. Compare like-for-like terms and ask for the renewal price before enabling automatic billing.
Assuming “unlimited slots” means unlimited capacity
Fly-Serv’s table uses that wording, but finite RAM, CPU and storage still constrain a Soulmask world. Treat it as a commercial slot policy, not a measured concurrency guarantee.
Buying on RAM alone
More memory can provide headroom, but location, CPU allocation, storage performance, save behavior and support access also affect the experience. No source here supplies a controlled test that isolates those variables.
Ignoring tax and currency
The BESTNET-GSERVER listing demonstrates why tax basis matters by showing both ¥1,980 before tax and ¥2,178 after its stated 10 percent tax. Other listings may reveal their final tax only at checkout.
Treating marketing features as test results
Automatic backups, DDoS protection, auto-updates and support are provider claims. The available evidence does not establish which host has the best measured latency, uptime, stability or support response. Ask for the terms and validate the service during a cancellable period.
What the evidence can—and cannot—establish
The listings establish displayed prices, advertised resources and stated features on specific dates. They do not establish a universal minimum RAM requirement, an independently tested performance ranking, or guaranteed capacity for every Soulmask world. Prices and availability are volatile, and the comparison-source figures for NitroServ and Minestrator require direct confirmation. Use the tables to narrow the shortlist, then make the final decision from the checkout total, region, recovery terms and a test period you can afford.
