Candy Crush Saga’s 2026 Spooky Season is scheduled for October 12 through November 9, bringing back the Jellynauts in a rescue-focused Halloween Horde adventure. The season also adds the Spooky Scenes pin collection and the Gold Heist tournament. Access depends on your level: Halloween Horde starts at level 11, Gold Heist at level 25, and Spooky Scenes at level 50.
What is Candy Crush Spooky Season 2026?
King’s announced Halloween season runs from October 12 to November 9, 2026. Its central story returns the Jellynauts to Candy Town, where they are causing trouble and trapping friends. Players advance through a Saga Adventure and attempt to rescue them.
The season combines a story activity, a collectible pin series, temporary Halloween-themed changes around the game, and a competitive tournament. King has announced the activities and level gates, but has not said that every account will receive every feature in exactly the same way.

How the Halloween Horde works
Advance through a rescue story
Halloween Horde is a Saga Adventure available from level 11. King describes progression through Saga Adventure levels while players rescue friends trapped by the Jellynauts. The event is therefore more than a visual map change: its stated objective is to move through the adventure and complete rescues.
Reported mechanics to verify in your game
GamingTrend reported that each Expedition level involves rescuing a trapped friend, followed by a final showdown involving Mr Toffee. It also reported Jellynauts as new blockers and gumball machines as green-jelly repellers. Those details are secondary reporting rather than a complete official rules guide, so check the instructions displayed in your current game before planning moves around them.

Spooky Scenes: 81 Pins in nine sets
Players at level 50 or higher can access the Spooky Scenes collection listed for the season. It contains 81 Pins across nine themed sets. The announcement presents this as a collectible activity tied to the Halloween season; it does not state that completing all nine sets is required to finish the story or enter Gold Heist.
If the collection is missing after you reach level 50, restart the app, install any available game update, and check the event or collection panels again. If it still does not appear, your account may not be included in the current distribution.

King advertises 250 Gold Bars as the grand prize. That is the stated top prize, not a guarantee of a payout or an estimate of typical player results. - Update Candy Crush Saga through your device’s app store before the announced season begins.
- Open the game and check the event icons, map, and collection area after October 12, 2026.
- If you are at least level 11, look for Halloween Horde and its Saga Adventure entry.
- If you are at least level 50, open the Spooky Scenes collection to see whether the nine sets are enabled for your account.
- If you are at least level 25, check for Gold Heist from October 26 and note the round timer shown in the game.
Because event delivery can vary by account, these checks are more reliable than assuming that a published level gate means immediate access.

Will every player get every feature?
Not necessarily. King’s 2026 announcement gives level thresholds but does not promise identical availability for all players. During the 2025 Jellynauts season, a King Community Manager said a small test group received the Spooky Tour and acknowledged that some players did not have it. That earlier test does not prove the exact 2026 rollout, but it is a reason to treat the current announcement as an eligibility and schedule guide rather than a universal-access guarantee.

How 2026 differs from the 2025 Jellynauts event
The 2025 event used a Spooky Tour in which players played regular levels to move along a map and reach timed reward stops. The official 2025 video described the task as playing levels to move along the map and reach tour stops before the timer expired.
That history provides context for the returning characters, but it should not be used as a description of the 2026 Halloween Horde. The new announcement identifies Halloween Horde as a Saga Adventure with rescues, while the precise 2026 rules may differ from the prior tour format.
Do you have to pay to participate?
Candy Crush Saga is free to play and offers optional in-game purchases. The available listing and King’s event announcement do not say that buying boosters, Gold Bars, or another item is required to enter Halloween Horde, collect Spooky Scenes Pins, or participate in Gold Heist. Purchases may exist elsewhere in the game, but no event-specific purchase requirement is established.
