Yes—King has documented recent Candy Crush Soda Saga changes. The biggest map update is Soda Sea, which presents the main level journey as island episodes instead of a left-to-right path. It is rolling out gradually, so it may not appear for every player yet. King says the underlying journey and completed progress remain the same.
What is the Soda Sea update?
Announced by King Community Manager LoFiGummy on August 12, 2026, and shown as updated on September 10, Soda Sea changes how the main level map is presented. King describes it as “a new way to travel through your main level journey”: players move forward through island episodes rather than from left to right on the map. King’s Soda Sea announcement
As you win levels, you restore tiles on an island. Some groups of tiles take more than one win to restore; completing an island opens the next one. King says the main level journey and progress are retained, although older map features may look or work differently. The Soda Sea support article

King says Soda Sea is being rolled out gradually, and new features can first be released to smaller groups of players. Not seeing the map does not necessarily mean your app is outdated, and King has not promised a universal availability date. King’s rollout guidance

The roundup’s Level 19000 figure is a milestone, not a reliable answer to “What is the latest level?” A Community Manager reply in the same discussion gave 19555 as the latest mobile level at that time. That is a historical, dated snapshot—not a verified current maximum—and level availability can differ by platform.

Why don’t I have more levels to play?
King adds main levels regularly, but the next levels may not be available to every platform at the same time. Use these checks in order: King’s guidance for missing levels

- Check for an app update. Open the App Store on an Apple device or Google Play on Android, find Candy Crush Soda Saga, and install the update if an Update button is available. King says players need the latest app version to access new levels.
- Check level completion. Make sure every prior main level has at least one star; an unfinished level can prevent access to later levels.
- Allow for platform timing. If you play on more than one platform, the level release may not have reached each one yet.
- Check whether you have reached the current main-level endpoint. If you have completed all available main levels, the pink door may take you to Mastery Levels while you wait for more main levels.
There is no verified October 2026 maximum level in the cited support guidance. Avoid treating the 19555 mobile figure from the earlier community reply as the current cap.

Why can’t I replay old levels?
King documents a limited test in which some players cannot replay completed levels and gold pins are hidden. The support article says the change affects only some players and may change; it does not establish a permanent rule for everyone. King’s explanation of the replay test
