NBA 2K27 is available for PC through Steam. To meet 2K’s listed minimum requirements, a PC needs Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-9400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400, 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 1060 5 GB, RX 5500 XT 4 GB, or Intel Arc A580. The recommended tier raises those targets to Windows 11 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-10600 or Ryzen 5 3600X, 16 GB of RAM, and an RTX 2070 8 GB, RX 5700 8 GB, or Intel Arc A770. Both tiers require an SSD and 110 GB of available storage.
NBA 2K27 PC system requirements
These are the publisher’s minimum and recommended configurations, not frame-rate or graphics-quality guarantees. 2K’s support page, published July 13, 2026 and updated July 20, 2026, says it cannot guarantee the game will run on a PC below minimum requirements. The Steam listing also displays the requirements.

Both tiers also specify an AVX2-capable processor and a graphics card that supports DirectX feature level 12.0. A dual-analog gamepad is recommended, not listed as a requirement. Source: NBA 2K Support.

Compare your exact CPU and graphics-card models with the table rather than relying on a broad label such as “gaming PC.” Check RAM, Windows edition, SSD capacity, AVX2 support, and graphics feature support as separate requirements: matching one component does not establish that the rest of the system qualifies.

- Check Windows: Confirm you have the required 64-bit edition and the latest update for the minimum or recommended tier you are comparing against.
- Check CPU and AVX2: Identify your processor model and compare it with the listed Intel or AMD CPUs. The processor must also support AVX2.
- Check graphics: Compare your GPU model with a listed card in the relevant tier, and verify DirectX feature level 12.0 support.
- Check memory and storage: Confirm at least the tier’s listed RAM and 110 GB of available space on an SSD.
- Check connectivity: Ensure you can connect to broadband for the initial Steam authentication and any features that require online access.
2K offers a PC Compatibility Checker on its requirements and troubleshooting page. The published specifications do not state expected FPS, resolution, or graphics settings, so they cannot tell you how smoothly a particular qualifying PC will perform.
Steam installation, storage, and internet access
The PC edition is distributed through Steam. The official listing says the initial installation needs a one-time internet connection for Steam authentication. That is separate from the broadband requirement and from online conditions for other modes and features: those may require internet and account registration, and may not be available at all times.
