No. You cannot currently use Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any other cryptocurrency with Sweeptastic because the Sweeptastic casino is no longer a playable service. Sweeptastic’s current business is an independent sweepstakes-casino review and comparison website, not an operating casino with a cashier, coin packages, or prize redemptions.
Older articles describe cryptocurrency payments at the former casino, while a later September 2026 account says purchases were limited to cards. Those reports describe different points in the former service’s history, and the available evidence does not establish exactly when crypto acceptance ended. Treat the historical currency lists as unconfirmed background—not as instructions for making a payment today.
What Sweeptastic is now
Sweeptastic’s own history page, dated 15 September 2026, explains that the original casino has been discontinued and that the site now operates independently as a review and comparison publication. Its wording is unambiguous: “If you arrived looking for the original Sweeptastic casino, please note that it no longer operates as a playable platform.”

The current Sweeptastic site has no playable account balance, no casino cashier, and no mechanism for purchasing casino coins. Consequently, there is no current Bitcoin checkout, Ethereum deposit address, or crypto withdrawal option to use.

If you reach a page claiming to sell Sweeptastic coin packages today, pause before sending money or connecting a wallet. The claim would not match Sweeptastic’s stated current status. Do not assume that an old login page, cached article, social-media post, or similarly named domain represents a live Sweeptastic casino.
Why older pages mention cryptocurrency
Several historical reviews were written while the former Sweeptastic casino was being discussed as an operating sweepstakes platform. Those articles said players could purchase packages of casino coins with digital currencies. The reports commonly named five assets:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Tether (USDT)
- Litecoin (LTC)

In that historical model, a player bought promotional or gameplay coins, and a separate category of sweepstakes coins could potentially be redeemed for prizes after meeting the site’s rules. The crypto references therefore concerned a former casino’s purchase process, not a subscription or payment feature of the present review website.

The table shows why a simple “yes” answer would be misleading. The currency lists come from older third-party descriptions, while the later card-only account presents a different snapshot of the former casino. None of these historical reports changes the current fact that there is no playable Sweeptastic casino.

Does Sweeptastic accept Bitcoin?
For the current Sweeptastic website, no. There is no live casino transaction in which you can enter a Bitcoin amount, scan a payment code, or send BTC to purchase Sweeptastic coins.
For the former casino, older reviews said Bitcoin was among the currencies accepted for coin packages. That statement should be kept in the past tense. The sources do not provide a dated official payment rule showing the first day Bitcoin became available or the last day it remained available. They also do not establish whether BTC access was universal, restricted by jurisdiction, or dependent on a particular account or payment processor.
Can you use Ethereum to purchase Sweeptastic coin packages?
Not now, because coin packages are no longer sold through a playable Sweeptastic casino. Historical reviews did list Ethereum alongside Bitcoin, Litecoin, Tether and USD Coin, but those reports refer to the discontinued operation.
If an old article tells you to select Ethereum at checkout, follow a wallet address, or wait for blockchain confirmations, do not treat those directions as current. A crypto transfer is generally difficult or impossible to reverse once sent to the wrong address. The safest interpretation is that the instructions are archival and no longer applicable unless Sweeptastic itself publishes a new, verifiable notice—which its current history statement does not.

Understanding the conflicting payment history
The disagreement is not merely a difference in wording. It affects the answer to whether cryptocurrency was ever available, when it was removed, and what a player could use at the end of the casino’s life.
Crypto accounts from older reviews
Phandroid and NewSweepstakes both describe the same broad set of five cryptocurrencies. Their accounts support the conclusion that crypto payments were reported at some point during the former casino’s operation. Phandroid additionally says crypto redemptions were available, while NewSweepstakes describes ACH bank transfers for redemptions. Those differences may reflect changes over time, different user experiences, or inconsistent reporting; the retrieved material does not resolve which explanation is correct.
The later card-only account
A Legal Sports Report update published in September 2026 says the former service accepted Visa, Mastercard and Discover/Diners Club cards for purchases and used bank-account payouts for redemptions. It also quoted an FAQ indicating that more payment methods would be added “shortly.” This is evidence of a later payment configuration, not proof that cryptocurrency was never offered.

What remains unknown
- The exact date on which crypto payments, if offered, were withdrawn.
- Whether the five reported currencies were available in every country or to every account.
- Whether the card-only report described a permanent policy or a temporary change.
- Whether crypto was supported by the casino directly or through a payment processor that later changed its options.
- Which redemption methods were available at each stage of the former casino’s operation.
Because no dated official archived cashier, payment-rules page, or closure notice settles these questions, a precise historical timeline would be speculation.

How to evaluate a claim that Sweeptastic still takes crypto
Use the following checks before interacting with any page that uses the Sweeptastic name:
- Check what the page says the business is. The current official description is a review and comparison site, not a playable casino. A payment page that contradicts that description deserves scrutiny.
- Look for a current, first-party announcement. An old review, search snippet, or forum comment is not evidence of a live cashier. A legitimate current payment option should be documented by the operator in an up-to-date terms, cashier, or support page.
- Do not send a test transaction. Sending a small amount does not make an unverified recipient safe. Blockchain payments can be irreversible, and a transfer cannot prove that a site is authorized to operate a casino.
- Separate the domain from the brand name. A similarly named site may be unrelated. Confirm the exact domain through Sweeptastic’s current official pages rather than through a link in an advertisement or an old article.
- Check jurisdiction and legality. Sweepstakes-casino availability and prize rules can depend on where you live. Historical access in one location would not establish current availability elsewhere.
What “coin packages” and “redemptions” meant historically
The former casino’s reported payment flow used more than one type of balance. A package purchase could provide ordinary promotional or gameplay coins, while Sweeps Coins were described as the prize-redeemable component. You found an old guide listing BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT and USDC
Read it as historical context. Compare its publication date with the September 2026 card-only report and the 15 September 2026 official history statement. Neither an old currency list nor a later card list establishes a current cashier.
You are waiting for a Sweeptastic prize
Do not assume that a historical crypto-payout description applies to an old account. The sources disagree about redemption methods, and the casino has since discontinued operations. Use only a verified, current support or legal channel associated with the former operator, if one is publicly available; do not pay an extra “release,” “verification,” or “tax” fee to an unverified contact.
