Yes. WARDOGS does not show a dedicated Skip button, but current player guides report that you can leave the tutorial like an active match. Press Esc, remain still for roughly 15–30 seconds, choose Leave Match, and confirm if prompted. You should return to the main menu, where you can join a normal server.
How to bypass the WARDOGS tutorial
This is a player-reported workaround rather than a feature that BULKHEAD has publicly documented as guaranteed. It works by waiting for the in-match leave option to become available.
- Launch WARDOGS and enter the tutorial.
- Press Esc to open the pause menu.
- Do not move your character. Wait approximately 15–30 seconds.
- Select Leave Match when the option appears.
- Confirm that you want to leave if WARDOGS displays a confirmation prompt.
- At the main menu, join a normal server.
One walkthrough reports that the Learn to Play entry remains available from the main menu after you leave, so you can return to the tutorial later.

Where is the Leave Match button?
Leave Match appears in the pause menu after the tutorial has been running for a short period. It may not be visible immediately. Keep the menu open, avoid moving, and wait the full 15–30 seconds before deciding that the option is missing.

If Leave Match does not appear
- Allow the tutorial to finish loading completely.
- Close the pause menu.
- Open it again with Esc.
- Stay still and wait another 15–30 seconds.
If the session crashes or becomes completely unresponsive, treat that as a stability issue rather than a missing skip control. Restarting the game may be necessary.
Should you leave or complete the tutorial?

Experienced players who only need to reach a live match may prefer the workaround. New players, or anyone collecting achievements, should complete the tutorial instead. The available guides do not establish every possible reward or completion-flag consequence, so leaving should not be treated as equivalent to finishing it.

Why does WARDOGS make me do the tutorial again?
A different PC may request the tutorial again, according to one player walkthrough. That means completing or leaving it on one computer does not necessarily prevent the prompt from returning elsewhere. If it reappears, use the same pause-menu procedure or complete the lesson normally.

- You should be returned to the main menu rather than kept in the tutorial instance.
- You can then select a normal server.
- The Learn to Play option may still be available for practicing later.
- The This is WARDOGS achievement may remain unearned until the tutorial is completed.
Because this behavior is described by player-facing guides and not as a guaranteed official option, a future update could change the timing or menu behavior. If the workaround stops appearing, completing the tutorial is the dependable fallback.
