Yes. In GTA Online, you can ride both attractions at Pleasure Pier on Del Perro Pier in Del Perro, Los Santos: the Ferris Whale ferris wheel and the Leviathan roller coaster. Walk to either entrance and use the on-screen boarding prompt. The Ferris Whale has a documented GTA Online price of $10 per ride; the currently confirmed Leviathan fare is not established by the available references.
At a glance
| Attraction | Ride type | Where you board | Camera information | GTA Online price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ferris Whale | Ferris wheel | Boarding turnstile at Pleasure Pier | A gameplay guide reports that the camera can be switched while riding | $10 per ride, according to a GTA Wiki reference entry accessed in 2026 |
| Leviathan | Roller coaster | Boarding platform at Pleasure Pier | The same guide does not report the Ferris Whale-style camera switching | Not definitively stated for current GTA Online; a general reference lists $15, but that amount is not verified for Online |
Both attractions are next to each other, so you can visit them during one stop at the pier. Neither requires a separate ticket purchase or a stated story-progress unlock according to the available gameplay guidance, although Rockstar’s official announcement confirms the rides without spelling out an unlock rule.

Where the rides are located
Del Perro Pier and Pleasure Pier
Travel to Del Perro Pier in the Del Perro district of Los Santos. The amusement area is called Pleasure Pier. The Ferris Whale and Leviathan are placed beside one another in that area, rather than at separate amusement parks or different parts of the map.

Their entrances are separate, but the short distance between them makes it practical to ride one and immediately walk to the other.

What to look for at each entrance
- The Ferris Whale uses a boarding turnstile. Approach that entrance rather than standing beneath the wheel or beside a car.
- The Leviathan uses a boarding platform. Move onto the platform area where passengers enter the coaster.
- When your character is in the correct interaction area, the game displays an on-screen prompt. Use that prompt to board.
How to ride the Ferris Whale
- Enter GTA Online and travel to Del Perro Pier in Del Perro, Los Santos.
- Go into the Pleasure Pier amusement area and locate the Ferris Whale. The coaster is nearby, so use the wheel’s turnstile to distinguish the correct entrance.
- Walk up to the turnstile until the on-screen interaction prompt appears.
- Accept the prompt to start the ride. The cited Ferris Whale reference lists the GTA Online fare as $10 per ride.
- During the ride, the gameplay guide used for this comparison reports that the camera can be switched. The exact camera options can depend on the game’s current control and display settings, so use the camera control shown by your game rather than assuming a particular view.
The $10 figure applies to a ride in GTA Online, not to every version of Grand Theft Auto V. A separate reference lists $8 for the Ferris Whale in GTA V Story Mode, which is a different mode and should not be used as the Online price.
How to ride the Leviathan roller coaster
- Go to the same Pleasure Pier area at Del Perro Pier.
- Find the Leviathan’s boarding platform. Its coaster track and platform are adjacent to the Ferris Whale.
- Move into the platform’s interaction spot and wait for the on-screen boarding prompt.
- Accept the prompt to enter the ride.
The available references confirm that the Leviathan is usable in GTA Online, but they do not establish a reliable current Online fare. One general reference entry shows $15, while a gameplay guide’s comparison table leaves the GTA Online coaster price blank. Treat $15 as unverified rather than as a confirmed charge for your character.
The guide does not report the same camera-switching behavior for the Leviathan that it reports for the Ferris Whale. That difference is useful when choosing between the rides, but it does not change the basic boarding procedure: reach the platform and follow the prompt.

- Explore the City of Los Santos, the countryside and even the ocean.
- Play through an epic single player experience using three very different characters.
- Join your friends in GTA Online and see what trouble you can cause.
- Play golf, tennis, see a film or call someone and just hang out.
Do you need to unlock either attraction?
A gameplay guide reports that neither ride is locked behind story progress and that no separate ticket purchase is needed before visiting the pier. On that guidance, a player can travel directly to Del Perro Pier and try the interaction prompt.
Rockstar’s official announcement confirms the attractions’ availability in GTA Online but does not specify an unlock mission, rank requirement, or other eligibility rule. The safest wording is therefore: there is no reported unlock requirement in the available gameplay guidance, and you should be able to test the rides by going straight to Pleasure Pier.
Ferris Whale versus Leviathan
| Comparison | Ferris Whale | Leviathan |
|---|---|---|
| Experience | Slow Ferris wheel ride with elevated views | Roller coaster ride on the pier’s track |
| Entrance | Boarding turnstile | Boarding platform |
| Location | Pleasure Pier, Del Perro Pier | Pleasure Pier, beside the Ferris Whale |
| Camera behavior in the cited guide | Camera switching is reported | Camera switching is not reported |
| Confirmed GTA Online fare | $10 per ride | Not stated reliably |
Choose the Ferris Whale if you specifically want the documented $10 price or the camera-switching behavior described by the guide. Choose the Leviathan for the coaster experience, but do not budget around a supposedly confirmed $15 charge because the available evidence does not verify that amount for GTA Online.

What the prices actually mean
Ferris Whale: $10 in GTA Online
The Ferris Whale reference entry lists a $10 fare for each GTA Online ride. This is a per-ride amount, not a one-time admission fee for Pleasure Pier. If you leave and want to ride again, expect the attraction to treat that as another ride.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Story Mode’s $8 figure
The same set of references identifies an $8 Ferris Whale price in GTA V Story Mode. Story Mode and GTA Online use separate economies and activities, so the $8 figure should not be substituted for the Online fare.
Leviathan: why $15 is not confirmed
A reference entry lists $15 for the Leviathan in general, but the retrieved evidence does not identify that number as a current GTA Online fare. A separate gameplay guide does not fill in an Online coaster price in its comparison table. Because those details do not align, the accurate answer is that the Leviathan’s current GTA Online price is not definitively established here.
Rank #4
- The biggest, most dynamic and most diverse open world ever created and now packed with layers of new detail.
- Grand Theft Auto V blends storytelling and gameplay in new ways as players repeatedly jump in and out of the lives of the game's three lead characters, playing all sides of the game's interwoven story.
- Grand Theft Auto V also comes with Grand Theft Auto Online, the dynamic and ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe for multiple players.
If the boarding prompt does not appear
When a ride does not offer an interaction prompt, check the location and mode before assuming it is unavailable:
- Confirm that you are in GTA Online rather than relying on Story Mode behavior. Prices and activity details can differ between modes.
- Make sure you are at Del Perro Pier’s Pleasure Pier amusement area, not merely on a nearby stretch of beach or roadway.
- For the Ferris Whale, move to the turnstile entrance. Standing under the wheel or next to the structure is not the same as entering the boarding spot.
- For the Leviathan, move onto the boarding platform rather than stopping along the track or outside the platform area.
- Walk slowly around the entrance until the game’s interaction prompt appears. The prompt is the indication that your character is positioned correctly.
- If one attraction is not responding, try the other entrance. Because both rides are adjacent, this also helps confirm that you are in the correct amusement area.
The available material does not identify a special mission, ticket kiosk, or rank threshold that must be completed when the prompt is missing. Do not buy a separate ticket or complete unrelated story content based solely on the absence of the prompt.
What Rockstar officially confirmed
Rockstar’s announcement on the PlayStation Blog describes the Del Perro attraction in direct terms: “If you prefer rickety amusements operated by minimum wage teenage workers over incendiary lawn displays, then venture down to Pleasure Pier where you can now ride the Ferris Whale and the Leviathan Roller Coaster.”
Best Value
- Used Book in Good Condition
That statement is the clearest official confirmation that both named attractions can be ridden in GTA Online. It establishes availability and location, but it does not provide a current Leviathan fare or spell out a rank, mission, or unlock condition.
Quick checklist for a two-ride visit

- Enter the Pleasure Pier amusement area.
- Use the Ferris Whale turnstile and follow the prompt; the cited Online price is $10.
