Yes. You can replay Stranded—Mission 10 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4—through Mission Select and collect Yellow Supply Crates you missed. The mission keeps exploration and crate progress separately from ordinary campaign checkpoint progress, so leaving or finishing the mission does not permanently lock you out. There are 26 crates in total, and collecting all of them completes the Time to Crate achievement.
What carries over when you replay Stranded?
Stranded has 26 Yellow Supply Crates
Stranded is an open-map mission with 26 Yellow Supply Crates distributed among bases, islands, villages, roads and checkpoints. Twenty-four crates stay in fixed locations. Two are mobile: one is carried by a passing train and the other is mounted on a patrol convoy truck. Those moving crates are the most common reason a player finishes with 24/26 or 25/26.
The game may label the objective as Yellow Supply Caches Opened rather than “crates.” That counter is the authoritative running total. It counts the supplies you have actually opened and collected, not merely containers you have looked at or keypad doors you have unlocked.

Stranded’s exploration and collectible state is stored independently from normal campaign checkpoint progress. You can therefore complete the mission, abandon it, return to the campaign menu, and launch it again without resetting crates already credited to your total. A replay is a cleanup run, not a complete restart of the collectible list.

No platform-specific differences in this replay behavior have been established. A patch could also change spawn behavior or expose a save bug, so use the in-game counter rather than assuming a crate was recorded.
How to replay Stranded and resume crate hunting
- Leave or finish the current mission. Play until you reach the campaign menu. The collectible total is retained whether you completed Stranded or exited it after collecting what you could.
- Open Mission Select. From the campaign menu, choose Mission Select, then select Stranded. It is listed as Mission 10.
- Launch the mission and read the counter. Before moving into a new area, check the objective display for Yellow Supply Caches Opened. It shows your cumulative total out of 26.
- Use the total to choose a strategy. A low number means you still need a broad sweep. At 24/26 or 25/26, prioritize the train, the patrol truck and the crate hidden behind destructible wooden boxes at Infantry Checkpoint 6 before searching every outpost again.
- Open every container completely. If a crate is behind a keypad door, enter the code, go inside and physically take the supplies. Entering a code alone does not credit the collectible.
- Check the counter after each area. A changed total confirms that the game recorded the pickup. If the number does not move, search the room, vehicle or nearby cover for supplies you left behind.
- Finish at 26/26. Once all 26 are credited, the Time to Crate achievement should trigger. Allow the mission to save before returning to the menu.
Use the counter to diagnose a missing crate
At 24/26: start with the two moving targets
A total of 24 often means the 24 stationary crates were collected while both mobile crates were missed. Watch for the train on its route and board it when the crate-bearing section is accessible. Then locate the patrol convoy near Infantry Checkpoint 3, stop the truck and collect the crate mounted on it. Vehicle timing matters more on a cleanup run than on a first exploration run because the targets continue moving while you clear other areas.

At 25/26: inspect the hidden fixed crate
If you have 25, one mobile target or one obscured stationary container is usually still uncredited. At Infantry Checkpoint 6, break through the destructible wooden crates and inspect the space behind them. The yellow container is easy to overlook if you only follow the main paths or rely on the outpost marker.

Keypad containers can look complete as soon as the lock opens. Walk into the container and collect the supply bundle inside. If you entered a code and immediately drove away, return to that location and take the items; the counter records the pickup, not the keypad interaction.

Keypad locations and documented codes
Several crates require a code before you can reach the supplies. The following codes are documented for the named locations:
| Location | Code | What to do after unlocking |
|---|---|---|
| Base Camp | 0024 |
Enter the container and collect the supplies. |
| West island bunker | 0008 |
Open the bunker and pick up the crate contents. |
| Southeast village | 0078 |
Take the supplies inside after the door opens. |
| South of Jamming Station | 8609 |
Complete the pickup rather than stopping at the keypad. |
| Cliff | 0600 |
Enter the unlocked container and collect the bundle. |
| Highway sign | 1234 |
Search the opened room for the physical supplies. |
| Farm-field bunker | 0330 |
Collect the crate contents inside the bunker. |
| Small river island | 6789 |
Finish the interaction by taking the supplies. |
Codes are included as a recovery reference for a replay. If a code fails, confirm that you are at the named location and that the mission has loaded your existing collectible state; do not assume a newly locked door means your previous pickup was erased.

Plan an efficient first run or cleanup run
The best route depends on whether you are discovering the map or returning for one or two items. Clearing named enemy outposts unlocks fast travel, which reduces the time needed to move between distant crate locations. Some containers also have an access condition beyond simply finding them.
| Run type | Primary objective | Route priority | Access concerns |
|---|---|---|---|
| First run | Build map knowledge while progressing the mission | Clear outposts as you travel, then sweep nearby islands, villages, bunkers and checkpoints | Expect climbs, keypad doors, destructible barriers and vehicle interception |
| Cleanup at a low total | Collect unvisited fixed crates efficiently | Use cleared outposts and fast travel to move between regions; keep the counter visible | Recheck every container and collect the supplies, not just the door interaction |
| Cleanup at 24/26 | Find two remaining crates | Check the train and patrol truck before repeating a full map sweep | Both targets move, so timing and positioning are required |
| Cleanup at 25/26 | Find the final uncredited crate | Inspect the mobile targets, then Infantry Checkpoint 6’s wooden barrier | The hidden container may not be visible until the destructible boxes are removed |
Why outpost order matters
Stranded contains 11 enemy outposts. Clearing them is useful for more than combat completion: it opens fast-travel options that let you return to remote crate areas without driving the entire map again. On a cleanup run, clear an outpost only when doing so unlocks a route you still need; avoid replaying every fight if the counter shows that the missing item is a moving target or a known hidden crate.

Expect different access requirements
Crates are not all reached in the same way. Depending on the location, you may need to clear an outpost, solve a keypad, climb to a ledge, destroy a wooden obstruction or intercept a vehicle. Treat the access step as part of the collectible: a marked container that remains unopened will not increase the total.

The counter is 24/26
- Look for the crate on the passing train and board it at the correct moment.
- Search for the patrol truck near Infantry Checkpoint 3, stop it and collect its crate.
- After each attempt, verify that the total changed before moving to another region.
The counter is 25/26
- Recheck whichever moving target you did not conclusively loot; seeing the train or truck is not enough.
- Break the wooden crates at Infantry Checkpoint 6 and inspect behind the opening.
- Revisit keypad containers where you may have entered the code but left the supplies inside.
The counter appears lower than expected
Do not compare the number with ordinary mission checkpoints. Stranded’s crate record is separate, and a checkpoint reload is not the same as a completed collectible pickup. Return to Mission Select, launch Stranded again and use the displayed total as the baseline for the cleanup run.
The achievement does not appear immediately
Confirm that the counter visibly reads 26/26, remain in the mission long enough for the save to complete, and then return to the campaign menu. If the total is correct but the achievement still does not trigger, restart the mission from Mission Select and check the final container again. Patch-specific save or spawn problems are possible, and the available guidance does not establish a universal platform-specific fix.

What not to do on a cleanup attempt
- Do not rely on container discovery alone. A keypad animation or an open door does not prove that the supplies were collected.
- Do not assume every crate is stationary. The train and convoy truck can leave their areas while you are fighting elsewhere.
- Do not restart the entire campaign. Mission Select is the intended replay route and preserves the separate collectible record.
- Do not leave immediately after the last pickup. Check for 26/26 and allow the mission to save.
When replaying is the right solution
Mission Select is appropriate whenever Stranded is no longer active and one or more crates are missing. It is also the safest way to verify a suspected missed pickup because the counter loads the accumulated total. You do not need to replay the mission’s ordinary checkpoint sequence solely to recover a collectible; instead, use fast travel unlocked by cleared outposts, target the known moving or hidden locations, and confirm each pickup on the counter.
The practical decision rule is simple: use a broad sweep while the total is low, switch to the train and convoy truck at 24/26, and investigate Infantry Checkpoint 6 plus unopened keypad containers at 25/26. Stop only when the display reaches 26/26 and the Time to Crate achievement registers.
