No—not through a documented setting that deletes individual transactions or clears your Cash App history while keeping your account. Cash App’s U.S. Terms of Service explain how to view receipts and transaction history, but do not describe a delete-history control. Closing your account is a separate action, and Cash App says it may retain account and transaction information afterward.
What you can do with Cash App history
Cash App’s U.S. Terms of Service describe access to transaction records, not a way to erase them individually. Receipts are available in the app’s Activity section and after logging in at cash.app. You can also view 12-month and 24-month transaction history in the app or at cash.app/account, as described in the U.S. Terms of Service.

That means removing the app from your phone or looking for an activity-clearing setting is not the same as deleting the underlying account records. The official U.S. documentation does not establish that a user can delete a transaction while retaining the account.

How to view or download statements before closing
If you may need records for budgeting, taxes, a dispute, or another purpose, access them before closing your account. Cash App’s statement guide gives these paths:

Does closing your Cash App account delete transaction history?
No deletion guarantee is stated. Cash App’s Privacy Notice, effective June 8, 2026, says you may deactivate or close your account by logging in and visiting cash.app/support. The same notice says the company may retain information about you and transactions after closure for periods consistent with legal requirements and other stated purposes, including fraud prevention, disputes, investigations, unpaid fees, and enforcing agreements. Closing the account, deleting the app, and asking for privacy-related deletion are distinct actions. A request to delete personal information does not establish that financial transaction records will be removed; applicable rights and exceptions depend on where you live and the law that applies. For an account or privacy request, use Cash App’s support route and consult its current Privacy Notice rather than assuming a particular result.

What Cash App’s deletion-request numbers do—and do not—show
Cash App’s Privacy Request Metrics Disclosure reports that from January 1 through December 31, 2025, the company received 11,617 deletion requests, denied 59, and had a median fulfillment time of three days. These are company-wide request statistics; they do not say whether transaction history can be deleted or predict the outcome or timing of an individual request.
