Not yet confirmed. Samsung announced USDC functionality for Samsung Wallet on October 7, 2026, with a planned U.S. launch in the last week of October. But its announcement confirms sending USDC from Samsung Wallet to compatible external wallets—not receiving it from a Solana wallet. Samsung has not published an inbound Solana deposit procedure or confirmed that this transfer will be supported.
What Samsung has confirmed—and what it has not
Samsung’s October 7, 2026 announcement describes a planned USDC transfer feature for eligible Galaxy users. It says users can send USDC from Samsung Wallet to compatible third-party crypto wallets or exchange accounts. Compatibility depends on the external service supporting USDC on a blockchain network supported by Samsung Wallet.
Samsung names Solana and Sui among technical partner capabilities, but does not provide a definitive supported-network list or confirm that Solana USDC can be deposited into Samsung Wallet. Naming Solana in connection with network capabilities is not confirmation that the requested inbound transfer works. Samsung’s announcement is available at Samsung’s US announcement.

As of October 9, 2026, the date of the latest information used here, the announced U.S. launch was still in the future. The announcement does not supply receiving instructions, a Samsung Wallet deposit address, a QR-code flow, inbound fees, or an arrival-time estimate. Do not send USDC from a Solana wallet unless Samsung’s current official instructions confirm both inbound transfers and the exact network and asset to use.

Why you should not use the older Blockchain Wallet receive instructions
Samsung separately documents Samsung Blockchain Wallet, whose general receive illustration tells users to copy an account address or use a QR code. That is a different product from the newly announced Samsung Wallet stablecoin functionality. Samsung has not said that the Blockchain Wallet address or QR-code procedure applies to receiving USDC through the new feature. See Samsung’s Blockchain Wallet support page.
Samsung also describes a Digital Assets card in Samsung Wallet that can display assets held in Samsung Blockchain Wallet or linked supported exchange accounts. That existing portfolio view is not evidence that the new stablecoin transfer service accepts deposits. Samsung lists Coinbase and Gemini as supported U.S. exchanges for the existing linked-account feature, while noting availability can vary by device and carrier. Details are in Samsung’s announcement.

Who is eligible for the announced feature
Samsung says the planned U.S. feature is for residents age 18 or older who have a Samsung Account and a compatible Galaxy device running Android 13 or higher. Users must register, complete identity verification, and set up biometric authentication. Samsung says device and feature compatibility may vary. Its general Samsung Wallet support page also notes that availability can depend on country or region, model, carrier, and firmware; the feature-specific requirements are the relevant ones for this announcement.

What to verify before attempting a Solana transfer
Until Samsung publishes receiving instructions, treat a Solana-to-Samsung transfer as unverified. When official instructions become available, check each of these details before sending:
- Transfer direction: Confirm that Samsung Wallet accepts USDC from an external wallet, rather than only sending USDC outward.
- Network and asset: Confirm that both Samsung Wallet and the sending wallet support USDC on the same network. Do not assume that support for USDC or a mention of Solana covers every network or token variant.
- Receiving method: Use only the deposit address, QR code, or other method Samsung documents specifically for this feature.
- Eligibility: Check country, age, Galaxy model, Android version, identity verification, and biometric requirements.
- Costs and timing: Read the inbound-transfer terms. Samsung’s stated no-fee policy applies to its outbound transfers to external wallets, not to deposits into Samsung Wallet. The announcement does not establish inbound fees or timing.
Outbound fees do not answer the inbound question
For transfers from Samsung Wallet to external wallets, Samsung says it charges no transfer fee. The receiving wallet provider or exchange may charge fees, and speed depends on network conditions. These terms describe the opposite direction from the transfer in this article, so they should not be used to predict the cost or timing of a Solana-to-Samsung deposit.
