Yes. Download the Kindle book to your Fire tablet while it has an internet connection, then open the downloaded copy to read on screen offline. Amazon’s official product overview does not list a tablet called “Amazon Alexa Tablet Pro”; if you mean a Fire Max 11 or another Fire tablet, the steps below apply to Fire tablets generally.
Download the book before you go offline
-
Connect the Fire tablet to the internet.
-
From Home, select Books or open the Kindle app.
-
Open Library. If the book is missing, select All to check titles hidden by the current library filter.
-
Tap the book cover to download it. Amazon says Kindle Store purchases are saved to the cloud and can be downloaded to the tablet again.

Once the book is downloaded, you can read that copy on the tablet without an internet connection. Internet access is still needed to sign in, buy or download a book, and sync library changes. Kindle app users purchase books through the Kindle Store rather than inside the reader app. See Amazon’s Fire tablet download instructions and its explanation of Kindle apps and purchases on other devices.
“Amazon Alexa Tablet Pro” is not an official model name listed by Amazon
Amazon’s device overview names Fire HD 8, Fire HD 10, and Fire Max 11 in its Fire tablet family, and lists Kindle e-readers separately. It does not identify a model named “Amazon Alexa Tablet Pro.” Fire Max 11 may be what you have in mind, but that is not a verified synonym. Check the model name in your tablet’s settings or on its product box if you need model-specific instructions. The general download-and-read steps above are for Fire tablets. See Amazon’s device overview.

Offline screen reading and Alexa read-aloud are different
Downloading a Kindle book lets you read it silently on the tablet screen offline. Amazon also offers Kindle Assistive Reader, an accessibility feature that uses Alexa text-to-speech to read Kindle books aloud on Alexa built-in devices. Amazon says it is unavailable on Alexa+. Its support information does not establish that Assistive Reader works offline, so do not assume the read-aloud feature will be available without a connection. See Amazon’s Kindle Assistive Reader instructions.
Use a microSD card only if you need more storage
Some Fire tablets support microSD cards for extra content storage. Amazon says Fire tablets from the fifth generation onward support cards, and the Kindle app supports saving Kindle books to a card configured as portable storage. Compatibility depends on the tablet, so check your model before buying or setting up a card. A card is optional: it is not required to read a book offline. Amazon says a Kindle book saved to portable storage can also be accessed on another device signed in to the same Amazon account. Details are in Amazon’s microSD guidance for Fire tablets.
