Not in any officially documented way. The current Quordle page offers Daily and Practice, but its published help does not confirm a date-selectable archive for loading a particular old daily puzzle. Practice is a separate mode, and Quordle does not explain whether it serves historical boards.
You can still play the current Daily puzzle or use Practice for additional games. However, do not assume that entering yesterday’s date, a puzzle number or a URL parameter will restore the exact board, or that a Practice result will repair or extend a Daily streak. Those behaviors are not defined in the available official documentation.
What Quordle officially confirms
Quordle is a browser word game in which you solve four hidden five-letter words at the same time. You get nine total attempts, and every five-letter guess is submitted to all four boards. Each board then shows its own color feedback, so one guess can reveal useful letters for one word while merely eliminating possibilities on another.

The page also displays four counters: Played, Win %, Streak and Solved. Their presence confirms that Quordle records some results, but the page does not publish the rules used to update each counter.
Quordle is free to play, requires no sign-up and does not require a download. Open the game page, choose a mode and begin typing guesses.
Is there an archive of old Quordle puzzles?
The currently accessible official page contains no date picker, archive calendar, puzzle-number browser or documented method for loading a historical Daily board. It also does not describe a supported URL format for selecting a date. Therefore, a date-selectable archive is not confirmed.
This is narrower than saying that old boards can never exist. The publisher could add an archive, expose one in a different interface, or change the help documentation later. As of the current documentation, however, there is no reliable, publisher-confirmed procedure for selecting a particular previous day.

Can you play yesterday’s exact puzzle?
There is no documented control that guarantees this. Selecting Practice may give you another board, but Quordle does not state that Practice loads yesterday’s Daily puzzle. Treating a random or unlimited Practice board as the missed Daily would be an assumption, not a confirmed feature.
Does a puzzle number or date in the address bar work?
The official help does not publish such a parameter. Do not rely on guessed links, date strings or puzzle numbers to recover a Daily board. An address that happens to load a game is not proof that it represents the historical Daily you intended, and an unsupported parameter may simply be ignored.

The practical distinction is important: Practice is a mode, not a documented archive. Until Quordle publishes a date-selection feature and explains how Practice boards are generated, you cannot identify a Practice result as a specific missed Daily with confidence.

How to play the current Quordle modes
- Open the official Quordle game page. No account or download is required.
- Choose Daily or Practice. Use Daily for the currently offered challenge; choose Practice when you want another board.
- Enter a five-letter guess. The same guess is applied to every unsolved board.
- Read each board’s color feedback separately. A letter may be in the correct position on one board, present in another position on a second board, or absent from a third.
- Use the nine-attempt limit across all four boards. You are not given nine guesses per board; the attempts are shared.
- Finish all four words or use the remaining attempts strategically. A guess that is weak for one board can still reveal a critical letter on another.
If you are trying to protect a record, note the mode before submitting guesses. The visible interface does not explain whether a completed Practice board is treated differently from a Daily board when statistics are updated.

How Quordle streaks and statistics work
The counters establish that the interface shows Played, Win %, Streak and Solved. They do not establish the accounting rules behind those labels. The available documentation leaves five material questions unanswered:
- Whether only Daily wins advance Streak.
- Whether Practice wins advance Streak.
- Whether missing one Daily permanently breaks a streak.
- Whether completing a missed board later can repair a broken day.
- Whether counters are stored only in the browser or synchronized to an account or device.
Because those rules are unpublished, a number displayed beside Streak should not be interpreted using assumptions from other word games. “Played” could represent completed boards, started boards or another internal event; “Solved” could count wins rather than individual words. The labels alone do not define the calculation.
What to do if a streak matters
Use the current Daily mode for the challenge you want associated with your streak. Avoid treating Practice as a streak-saving tool unless Quordle explicitly explains that behavior in its help or interface. If you miss a day, record the date and check the publisher’s current instructions rather than assuming a later replay will restore it.

What happens after changing devices?
The accessible help does not say whether statistics synchronize between browsers or devices. Before clearing site data, changing browsers or moving to another device, assume that your counters may not be portable. If preserving a personal record is important, keep your own dated notes or screenshots instead of relying solely on the on-screen totals.

If you missed a Daily puzzle
There are three sensible choices, each with a different level of certainty:
- Play Practice for the challenge. This gives you more Quordle play, but it does not prove that you are playing the missed Daily or that the result will affect Streak.
- Wait for a publisher-documented archive. An archive would need to identify the historical board by date or another stable identifier. Until that appears in the official interface or help, there is no confirmed recovery path.
- Keep the missed day separate in your own records. You can note that you missed the Daily and solve a Practice board for enjoyment without counting it as an official replay.
Do not describe a Practice success as “yesterday’s Quordle” unless the game itself identifies it that way. That wording can make a random or newly generated board sound like a historical Daily when the publisher has not made that connection.

“Practice must be the archive.”
Practice only proves that another play mode exists. The current help does not explain whether boards are random, rotating, historical or generated by another process.

“A visible Streak means Practice counts.”
The counter proves that some streak value is displayed, not which modes change it. Without a published rule, do not infer that every win advances the same streak.

“A missed day can always be repaired later.”
No official instruction confirms repair of a missed Daily. A later win may be recorded as a separate result, may leave the original gap unchanged or may follow another rule entirely.
“The statistics must follow me to another device.”
No synchronization policy is stated. Browser storage, account storage and cross-device synchronization are different implementations, and the page does not identify which one Quordle uses.
How to verify changes when Quordle updates
Archive and streak behavior can change when the publisher redesigns the interface. When checking a future version, look for concrete evidence rather than relying on community assumptions:
- A calendar, date field or “past puzzles” control that visibly selects a historical board.
- Help text that names how Practice boards are chosen.
- A statement identifying which mode affects Streak, Played, Win % or Solved.
- An explanation of missed-day replays and whether they repair a streak.
- A sign-in or synchronization notice that explains where statistics are stored.
If none of these appears, the cautious interpretation remains that the feature is undocumented. Interface wording can establish what a button does, but it cannot by itself establish hidden statistic rules.
How Quordle differs from assumptions about other word games
Word games often share concepts such as Daily challenges, Practice modes and streak counters, but those labels do not guarantee identical policies. A comparison is meaningful only when it checks the same axes:
- Number of simultaneous boards.
- Number of guesses allowed.
- Whether Daily and Practice are separate modes.
- Whether a player can select a historical puzzle by date.
- Whether non-Daily play changes streak statistics.
Quordle’s confirmed rules are four simultaneous five-letter answers and nine shared attempts. Archive and streak policies require Quordle-specific documentation; importing rules from another game can produce the wrong answer.
Bottom line for players
You can play Quordle’s current Daily challenge and use Practice for additional games. You cannot currently point to an official, documented date selector that loads a particular old Daily puzzle, and Practice is not confirmed to be an archive. The interface shows Played, Win %, Streak and Solved, but it does not define how Daily, Practice, missed days or device changes affect those counters. If a streak is important, play the current Daily, treat Practice as separate practice and keep a personal record until Quordle publishes clearer rules.
