No—JBL does not document a way to link two Go 3 speakers for shared or stereo playback. You can stream audio from a phone or other Bluetooth device to a Go 3, but that is different from linking one speaker to another. JBL’s PartyBoost setup applies to compatible models, and Go 3 is not among those listed.
What Bluetooth does on the JBL Go 3
JBL describes the Go 3 as a speaker for streaming music from a phone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device. Its specification sheet lists Bluetooth 5.1 and the A2DP 1.3 and AVRCP 1.6 profiles. Those details describe its Bluetooth connection; they do not establish a feature for linking multiple Go 3 speakers.
JBL’s specification sheet also rates music playtime at up to five hours, depending on volume and audio content. That is a manufacturer specification, not an independent test result. The sheet lists IP67 water and dust resistance as well.
Why two Go 3 speakers won’t make a documented linked setup
JBL’s PartyBoost group instructions require PartyBoost-compatible speakers. The Go 3 does not appear in JBL’s PartyBoost group or stereo setup list. JBL therefore provides no documented procedure for using two Go 3 units together for synchronized playback or stereo.

Bluetooth support alone is not evidence that a speaker can send audio to another speaker. Buying a second Go 3 should not be treated as a way to increase coverage or create a stereo pair.
What to choose if you want multiple speakers playing together
For shared playback
JBL’s PartyBoost grouping procedure is for compatible models, not the Go 3. For those models, JBL instructs users to connect a phone to the first speaker and start music, press that speaker’s PartyBoost button, then turn on another compatible speaker and press its PartyBoost button. Additional compatible speakers can be added the same way. Check JBL’s current compatibility information for the exact models you plan to use.

For stereo playback
JBL’s stereo instructions use the JBL Portable app and require two speakers of the same model. The page lists models including Flip 6 and Charge 5, but not Go 3. Confirm that the exact speaker model is currently supported before choosing it for a stereo pair.
