No. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival does not provide a post-credits free-roam world, chapter select, or New Game Plus. After the campaign concludes, you can revisit earlier content only by loading a manual save or a still-retained autosave from before the relevant section.
That makes save management important. The final autosave may let you view the other ending choice, but its availability is not guaranteed for every difficulty or save state. If you want all collectibles and objectives, create separate manual saves before major transitions instead of relying on the ending to keep the world open.
What happens after you beat Hellraiser: Revival?
Once the story reaches its ending and the credits finish, the game does not return you to a playable version of the world. There is no sandbox state in which you can walk back through completed areas, finish side objectives, or collect items you skipped during the campaign.

The practical result
- Free roam after the ending: Not available.
- Chapter Select: Not available.
- New Game Plus: Not available.
- Returning to an earlier area: Possible only when you have a suitable manual save or retained autosave.
- Missed collectibles and objectives: Effectively missable after you pass their area without a recoverable save.
This applies to the PS5 release of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, listed by the PlayStation Store as a Saber Interactive game released on October 8, 2026. A later patch could change the save or replay features, so check the in-game menus after major updates rather than assuming a future version behaves identically.
Why you cannot use chapter select or New Game Plus
The campaign is built around continuous progression and save loading rather than a mission browser. There is no menu that lists completed chapters, locations, or objectives for selective replay. Finishing the story therefore does not create a convenient checklist run for cleanup.
There is also no New Game Plus mode that carries equipment, upgrades, collectibles, or story progress into a fresh playthrough. Starting again means beginning a new campaign under the normal progression rules. If you are replaying for a different outcome or missed items, the choice is between loading an old save and restarting from the beginning.

Free roam versus save-based replay

How the save system affects replay
The game gives each playthrough slot two rotating autosave slots and eight manual-save slots, according to the 2026 save guidance. Rotating autosaves are useful for recovering from a recent mistake, but they are not a permanent archive of every chapter. As new checkpoints are written, older automatic states can be replaced.
The official PlayStation listing specifically describes manual save points as a way to return to the game “exactly where you left off.” For completionist runs, that makes manual saves the reliable planning tool. Use multiple slots rather than overwriting one file each time; a single save can leave you with no route back when a transition has already occurred.
A safe save rotation
- Create a manual save before entering a new major area, beginning a long objective chain, or triggering a point-of-no-return sequence.
- Keep at least one older file untouched while using another slot for your current progress. This protects you if a later save is made too late.
- Use the eight available manual slots as a rolling history: retain an area-entry save, an objective-start save, and a recent-progress save whenever possible.
- Do not treat an autosave icon as proof that every earlier location remains recoverable. The two autosave slots rotate.
- On PC, consider backing up save files when you are protecting a difficult-to-repeat section. Keep the backup separate from the live save directory so it is not overwritten automatically.
Manual-save names and timestamps are especially valuable when several files are close together. Before deleting a file, load it or inspect its location and progress so you know which section it represents.

Can you get both endings without starting over?
Possibly, but only if the final autosave remains available. The ending presents two final actions: stay in the apartment while the opening closes, or walk through the opening behind the Cenobites. These are alternatives at the finale, not post-game activities.
An ending guide recommends returning to the main menu after viewing one outcome, opening Load Game, and checking for the final autosave. If that file is present and positioned before the last decision, load it and replay the final scene to select the other action. This lets you see both outcomes without replaying the entire campaign.
That method is not guaranteed. The guide notes that the final autosave may not be retained on every difficulty or in every save state. If the file is missing, has advanced past the decision, or was replaced by later saving, you will need an earlier manual save or a fresh campaign to view the alternative.

Steps to try the alternate ending
- Finish the finale and allow the ending sequence to complete.
- Return to the main menu instead of starting another activity.
- Select Load Game and inspect the available autosave entries, including their timestamps or location descriptions.
- Choose the final autosave only if it places you before the two-action decision. If it is not there, check manual saves made immediately before the finale.
- Replay the scene and choose the other action: remain in the apartment, or walk through the opening behind the Cenobites.
- After seeing the second outcome, keep a manual save from before the decision if you want to repeat either version later.
If you want to preserve both outcomes, do not overwrite the pre-decision manual save with a post-ending save. The ending replay is a controlled reload of the finale, not a way to reopen the rest of the game.

There is no cleanup phase after the credits. When you pass an area containing a collectible, optional interaction, or other objective, it becomes inaccessible unless a save from before that point still exists. Loading a file from after the transition will not send you backward, and completing the story will not unlock a chapter list.

Completionist planning before a missable section
- Save in a separate manual slot at the entrance to the area.
- Use another slot just before the objective or encounter that could close the route.
- Record which collectibles and optional tasks you have completed; the game does not provide a post-game chapter checklist.
- Finish the area and verify the result before overwriting the older file.
- Keep one pre-transition save until the campaign is complete and you have confirmed that no cleanup mode exists.
This approach costs a few save slots but prevents the most common completionist problem: discovering a missed item after the only usable save has already moved beyond it.

If you already finished the campaign
Start with Load Game, not New Game. Inspect every manual and autosave entry and choose the newest file that is clearly before the area or decision you want to revisit. If a pre-ending file exists, you may be able to replay the finale or continue from that earlier point.
If no suitable file remains, there is no in-game command that restores a previous chapter. Your remaining options are to begin a new campaign, or—on PC—to restore a separately backed-up save made before the missed content. Console players are limited to saves still available through the game and the platform’s normal save-storage features.
Choosing between a reload and a new run

Does the ending create a playable epilogue?
No. The two final actions determine how the closing sequence resolves, but neither choice opens an explorable epilogue. Remaining in the apartment and walking through the opening behind the Cenobites are ending selections, not entrances to a new free-roam chapter.
After watching the result, treat the run as complete unless you deliberately load a prior save. The presence of a final autosave should not be interpreted as a permanent post-credits checkpoint; it is simply a possible way to replay the last decision.
Version and availability caveats
The facts above describe the PS5 game listed for October 8, 2026. Save behavior can change if a later update adds a feature, alters autosave rotation, or introduces a chapter browser. Before deleting old saves after a major patch, open the current menus and confirm whether Chapter Select, New Game Plus, or another replay option has appeared.
Until an update explicitly adds one of those systems, plan on the existing rules: manual saves are your durable recovery points, autosaves rotate, and the ending does not return you to the world.
