Yes. Crystal of Atlan has a Class Change button on the Skills screen that opens the Account Management Bot. That feature is different from creating a new character: changing an available class or branch uses the current character, while choosing a different base class may require another character slot and a fresh progression path.
Check ranked-event rules before making any change. During an event’s participation phase, a class change can erase your score and ranking eligibility for that event.
What “changing class” means in Crystal of Atlan
The wording can be confusing because the game has more than one layer of class identity. The Steam listing from 2025 describes five base classes, 11 class-branch options and more than 20 skills per class. A 2026 Google Play listing says more than 10 classes are unlocked from the start and identifies Sugariff as a Fighter branch.

- Change an available class or branch on the current character. This is the in-game Class Change operation reached from Skills.
- Reroll into a different base character. This means creating another character, which gives that character its own progression rather than transforming the existing character into a completely separate save.
The labels and destinations shown by the Account Management Bot can vary with the current client version and event rules. Do not assume that every branch or base class is available to every character at all times.
How to use the Class Change button
The official August 27 update added a direct control rather than requiring a separate, universally named consumable item. Follow this route in the current game client:
- Log in to the account and select the character you want to modify.
- Open the Skills screen.
- Select Class Change.
- Allow the game to open the Account Management Bot.
- Read the destinations, conditions and any displayed cost or restriction in the bot.
- Confirm only after checking the event phase, the target class and the effect on your current character.
The update establishes that the button routes to the bot; it does not establish one permanent price, cooldown or destination list for every version. If the bot presents a requirement that differs from an older guide, follow the current in-game notice.
Class Change versus making a new character
Use the comparison below to decide which operation matches your goal. “Not established” means the published information does not promise a universal rule, so the client’s confirmation screen is the authority.

This distinction matters most when the class you want is a base class rather than a branch offered by the Class Change flow. A button being present does not guarantee that it converts every existing character into every class in the game.

When rerolling is the dependable option
If the Account Management Bot does not offer the base class you want, creating a second character is the dependable way to try it. The process is account-level planning rather than a quick skill reset:
- Open the character-selection or character-management area.
- Check how many character slots are currently available.
- Create a new character and select the desired base class or branch offered during creation.
- Complete the opening progression on that character and verify that its skills and class identity match your intended build.
- Keep the original character until you are certain you no longer need its progress, equipment or event records.
Community descriptions commonly call this approach a reroll, but those reports are anecdotal. The reliable mechanical point is that a new character has a separate progression path. Treat equipment, cosmetics, currencies and unlocks as unconfirmed for transfer purposes unless the game explicitly labels them account-wide.

Character slots and Account Energy are separate constraints
The August 27 official update said eligible players could receive one additional character slot, while Account Energy would not increase. That was an event or launch-era rule, not a permanent promise that every future class release will grant a slot.
Before deleting or abandoning a character, check both counters independently. An extra slot lets you create another character; it does not by itself provide more Account Energy. Conversely, having Account Energy available does not create a character slot.
Costs, cooldowns and class availability
There is no published universal amount that applies to every Class Change in every edition of the game. The available material confirms the feature and one Sugariff-specific timing statement, but not a permanent price table or global cooldown.

Use this order of evidence when deciding whether to proceed:

- Check the event notice for participation, lockout or ranking language.
- Compare the displayed destination with your desired base class or branch; similar names do not necessarily mean the same class tier.
- Record the stated cost and restriction before confirming, especially if the change is limited to a seasonal or launch event.
Do not rely on an old guide that says a class change is always free, always available or always subject to a fixed waiting period. The official wording specifically says that Sugariff has no class-change time restrictions, which implies that timing rules can differ by class or release.
Ranked events: the most important warning
Changing class can have consequences beyond your character build. The official event rule states: “During the event participation phase, if you perform any changes to your class (Class Change, Character Conversion, Character Restoration), your current scores and rankings will be wiped clean, and after the class change, you will be unable to set records or enter the rankings.”
That rule applies to the participation phase. It includes Class Change as well as Character Conversion and Character Restoration, so restoring a character is not a safe workaround during that phase.
Check which phase is active
- Participation phase: assume a class-related change can clear your score and ranking position and prevent new records or entries.
- Reward-finalization phase: the event rules provide an exception. Read the current notice to confirm that the exception applies before acting.
If a ranking matters to you, finish the event, wait for the permitted phase, or postpone the class decision. Take a screenshot of your current score if you need a personal record, but do not treat a screenshot as protection against an in-game reset.

What happens to gear, appearance and cosmetics?
The cited official listings and update do not promise that every item, appearance or class-locked cosmetic carries over unchanged after a class change. Avoid assuming that a weapon, costume, hairstyle or visual effect tied to one class will remain usable after conversion.
Before confirming a change, inspect any preview or inventory warning for:
- Equipment that is restricted to the current weapon type or class.
- Skills, presets or loadouts that may no longer be valid.
- Class-specific costumes, effects or appearance options.
- Items stored on the character rather than shared at account level.
For a reroll, the safest assumption is even narrower: the new character begins with its own appearance and equipment setup unless the client explicitly identifies an account-wide entitlement. Keep the original character while you verify what is shared.

The Class Change button is not visible
Confirm that you are on the character’s Skills screen, not a general account menu. Then restart the client and check for a pending update. If the button is still absent, the feature may be gated by progression, region, event timing or the current version.
The Account Management Bot opens but shows no target
Read the eligibility text rather than assuming the bot is broken. A destination can be limited to a particular branch, character state or event. If you are attempting to move to a different base class, compare the offered options with the new-character creation screen.

The change is blocked during an event
Review the event phase and its participation rule. A lockout may be intentional, and proceeding during the wrong phase can cost your score or ranking eligibility.
You have no character slot for a reroll
Do not delete the original character solely because an older announcement mentioned an extra slot. The update’s one-slot grant applied to eligible players under its event rules, while Account Energy remained unchanged. Check the current account notice for any active grant or slot requirement.
The displayed class name is unclear
Use the game’s class hierarchy: identify whether the name is a base class or a branch. Sugariff, for example, is identified as a Fighter branch in the 2026 Google Play listing. A branch selection should not be treated as proof that the entire Fighter base class can be replaced with any other base class through the same button.

A safe decision checklist
Use this checklist immediately before confirming a switch or starting a reroll:
- Have you identified the target as a branch change or a different base class?
- Did you open Skills and verify the current Class Change destinations in the Account Management Bot?
- Did you read the displayed cost, timing restriction and confirmation text?
- Is a ranked event in its participation phase?
- Would losing your current score or ranking matter?
- Do you have a character slot if the desired class is unavailable in the bot?
- Have you checked which equipment, presets and cosmetics may be class-limited?
- Have you confirmed that Account Energy and character-slot counts meet separate requirements?
- Have you kept the original character until the new setup is verified?
Bottom line
Crystal of Atlan does let you change class through Skills → Class Change → Account Management Bot, but that control should not be confused with a universal base-class reroll. Use Class Change when the desired destination is offered for the current character; create another character when you need a separate base class. Check event timing first, because a change during the participation phase can wipe scores and remove ranking access, and treat gear, cosmetics, prices and cooldowns as version-dependent unless the current client states otherwise.
