In a Homecrux article published October 5, 2026, Atish Sharma reports using a Eureka PowerSpeed E2 Anti-Tangle upright vacuum in a home with two Labradors. Sharma says it picked up everyday fur from the living-room floor, couch and hard-to-reach spots, with the Pet Turbo Brush proving useful on upholstery. Those are the author’s observations, not results from a standardized or independently repeated test.
There is an important model and price caveat: the article does not identify the tested E2 by model number, and its linked $98.99 Amazon promotion was limited to October 6–7, 2026. That offer has expired; the official Eureka listings for other PowerSpeed models do not confirm the E2’s identity or today’s price.
What happened in the two-Labrador test?
Sharma describes routine cleaning in a home with two Labs, including fur on a living-room floor, couch and areas under a bed and behind a sofa. The article characterizes the vacuum as useful for everyday dog hair across those locations. It does not report a measured quantity of hair, a timed run, a pickup score or a controlled comparison with another vacuum, so the result is best read as one household’s account rather than proof of performance for every shedding dog or floor.
The tested unit is identified in the article as the Eureka PowerSpeed E2 Anti-Tangle. The article does not provide its model number, which limits how confidently a buyer can match the review to a current listing or verify specifications and replacement parts.

Which features stood out?
Pet Turbo Brush for upholstery and tight areas
The article says the test unit came with a Pet Turbo Brush, crevice tool, upholstery tool and dusting brush. Sharma highlights the turbo brush for cleaning pet hair from upholstery and awkward areas. Accessory bundles can vary by model: Eureka’s NEU180-series manual says its turbo brush is included only with selected models. That manual does not establish what comes with the E2.
Height adjustment for different floors
Sharma reports five height settings and use on hardwood and carpets of different heights. That suggests the tested vacuum could be adjusted for the surfaces in that home, but the article does not give separate pickup measurements for each floor type.

Weight and handling
Homecrux reports that the E2 weighed roughly 12 pounds with attachments loaded. Eureka separately lists the NEU181D PowerSpeed at 10 pounds, but the evidence does not establish that the NEU181D is the E2 or that its weight uses the same configuration. Treat the figures as model-specific, not interchangeable.

Is the tested E2 the same as Eureka’s NEU181D or NEU180?
No matching model identity is established. Eureka’s U.S. NEU181D listing specifies a 10-pound weight, five height adjustments, a 2.6 L dust cup and a Pet Turbo tool. Eureka’s separate NEU180 listing also specifies a 10-pound weight, five height settings and a 2.6 L maximum-fill dust cup. Neither official listing identifies its model as the E2 Anti-Tangle tested by Sharma.

What should buyers know about price and upkeep?
Price
The Homecrux article’s linked Amazon offer was $98.99 for October 6–7, 2026, and that promotion window has passed. Eureka’s official U.S. listings showed $99.99 for the NEU181D and NEU180 when checked October 7, 2026; those are different models, and listed prices can change. Verify the exact model and current price before buying.

Routine maintenance
Eureka’s NEU180-series owner’s guide advises emptying the dust cup after each use, cleaning washable filters monthly, inspecting the brushroll, and unplugging the vacuum before servicing it. It also provides instructions for replacing a brushroll or belt. These directions are for the NEU180 series; use the manual for the exact model you own rather than assuming they apply to the E2. Compatibility of replacement filters, belts and brushrolls for the tested E2 is not established here.

- Confirm the exact model: The E2’s model number is not given in the review, and the NEU180 and NEU181D are not confirmed matches.
- Check the included tools: Verify that the specific listing includes the Pet Turbo Brush and other attachments you need.
- Match it to your floors: The author reports using five height settings on hardwood and different carpet heights, but no controlled surface-by-surface results are provided.
- Consider your maintenance routine: Follow the instructions for your exact model, especially for filter cleaning, brushroll inspection and replacement parts.
- Verify today’s offer: The reported short-term promotion is over; check the current listing rather than relying on the article’s old price.
On the available account, the E2 handled everyday dog hair in one two-Labrador home, and its Pet Turbo Brush was a useful part of that experience. The article does not establish a quantified performance level, an exact model number or a current purchase price, so buyers should treat it as a promising anecdotal report—not a guarantee or a model-matched specification sheet.
