You can buy the Fora-230 SMG from Sidorovich in Rookie Village, in the Cordon. If you have progressed farther, traders in Rostok and Yaniv Station are also reported to sell it. The weapon was added in Update 2.0, and whether it appears can depend on your game version, access to the hub, and the trader’s current stock.
Where can I buy the Fora-230?
The earliest reported route is Sidorovich’s shop in Rookie Village. Travel from the Lesser Zone into the Cordon, enter the village, speak with Sidorovich, and open his trade menu. If the Fora-230 is in stock, purchase it with Coupons. Nerd’s Chalk reports that this route does not require finding a hidden stash or a fixed world pickup: Nerd’s Chalk’s Fora-230 location guide.

How much does the Fora-230 cost?
Sportskeeda reports a price of around 13,000 Coupons or more. Treat that as an approximate guide-reported figure, not a guaranteed price: the available sources do not establish a fixed price across game states or trader inventories. Check the price shown in the trade menu before buying.
Why is the Fora-230 missing from the vendor?
- Confirm Update 2.0 is installed. The Fora-230 was introduced in that update, as listed by GSC Game World.
- Check that you can access the hub. Rostok and Yaniv Station are alternatives only if you have reached them; story progress can affect which traders are available.
- Check again after a stock refresh. Trader inventory can change, so a missing listing does not by itself mean the weapon is unavailable.
- Try another reported seller. If Sidorovich does not list it, check Rostok or Yaniv Station when accessible.
Nerd’s Chalk reports no guaranteed unique Fora-230 location and recommends buying from a trader. That is a guide’s conclusion, not an official confirmation that no world spawn exists.

What Update 2.0 changes about availability
GSC Game World identifies the Fora-230 as one of the new weapons introduced in “Back to the Zone — Update 2.0.” Its separate Cost of Hope and Update 2.0 overview says the free update was scheduled for August 20, 2026, and would be available to players regardless of edition. The vendor locations above come from gaming guides, so stock should still be checked in your current game.
