The Bugaboo Fox 3 is a full-size stroller designed to carry a child from birth through the toddler years, using a bassinet and a seat. Its strongest case is a comfortable, easy-to-steer ride across pavement and park paths; its main drawbacks are its bulky folded form, a basket one reviewer found limited, and historically high prices. Whether it is worth considering depends less on the all-terrain label than on whether its size works with your car and storage space.
What does the Fox 3 offer?
The Fox 3 is a 2-in-1 stroller: it can be configured with a bassinet for a newborn or with a seat for an older baby or toddler. Bugaboo’s US listing describes it as suitable from 0 months to 4 years and identifies it as an all-terrain model. That age range and the specifications below apply to the cited US listing; figures and configurations can differ by market.
For travel-system use, Bugaboo’s US package listing names adapters for Bugaboo Turtle One and Turtle Air by Nuna car seats. That is a specific compatibility claim for the named models and package configuration, not a guarantee that other car seats will fit. Check the exact stroller, adapter and car-seat combination for your market before buying.

How large and heavy is it?
The two regional listings report different weights and capacity figures, so treat them as market-specific rather than combining them into one specification. The US product page lists inches and pounds; Australian consumer group CHOICE lists metric figures.

In a May 2022 review, Catherine Hufton of Expert Reviews said the Fox 3 steered lightly and worked well on pavement and in a park. She tested it with her eight-month-old on shopping trips, car journeys and woodland walks. These are her hands-on observations, not results from testing for this article, and they do not establish how it performs on every surface or for every caregiver.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)

- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Hufton also described the carrycot as light, noted its aerated mattress and found the harness easy to use. She listed the stroller’s light feel and easy steering among its strengths. Her reported drawbacks were limited shopping-basket space and bulk when folding; she also found changing between the seat and bassinet time-consuming. Read her full account at Expert Reviews’ Bugaboo Fox 3 review.
Will it fit in your car and home?
The folded dimensions deserve as much attention as the stroller’s ride. Hufton reported that the Fox 3 was bulky when folded and that she had to remove the seat to fit it in her car boot. That experience does not predict the fit in every vehicle, but it is a useful warning for buyers with a small boot, narrow storage space or frequent car journeys.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
- Measure the boot opening as well as the space inside; a stroller can fit in the cargo area but be awkward to load.
- Check whether you are comfortable removing the seat or handling a two-piece fold when packing it away.
- If you regularly carry shopping, consider Hufton’s report of limited basket space alongside the US listing’s stated 22 lb capacity. A weight limit does not tell you how much usable room or access the basket provides.
Is the Fox 3 worth its price?
The available price references are historical or market-specific, not a current universal price. Expert Reviews listed £1,045–£1,115 when it reviewed the stroller in May 2022. CHOICE’s Australian listing gives A$2,139. Those figures refer to different markets and sources, and neither should be taken as today’s price in your location.

CHOICE records the Fox 3 as tested in 2023, but its expert rating and most detailed test results are behind membership. Its public listing does not support quoting a public test score. - Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
The value question is practical: the Fox 3’s reported steering and comfort may matter if your routine includes uneven paths, while the size and fold may be a poor fit if you need a compact car stroller or have little storage space. Compare local prices and warranty terms for the exact configuration you are considering; the cited price references do not establish current offers or warranty coverage.
What should you check before buying one used?
The available sources do not establish comprehensive current recall status, the history of an individual stroller or local parts support. Before purchasing a used Fox 3, check its serial number with Bugaboo and consult the recall authority for your location. Inspect the particular unit’s condition and confirm that the components and adapters you need are present and compatible. Do not assume that a used unit has a particular warranty or that replacement parts are available in every region.
